The Genshin Impact 2.7 Livestream has been delayed indefinitely, leaving fans to wonder what's next from Hoyoverse. Even further, along with the Special Program, Hoyoverse has also decided to postpone the entire version 2.7 update with no rescheduled date in sight.
Thanks to some community leaks and speculation, however, we do have some idea of what could be next for the Genshin Impact 2.7 Livestream and update.

Genshin Impact 2.7 Livestream New Start Time
While the Genshin Impact 2.7 Livestream was delayed indefinitely, community leaks and rumors suggest the new start time will be on May 20, 2022, at 8pm server time (Chinese Standard Time).
This translates to the following:
- May 20, 8am EST
- May 20, 5am PT
- May 20, 1pm GMT
The ver. 2.7 Special Program will last around 30 minutes. During breaks, viewers will receive promo codes suitable for 300 Primogems and some Ascension Materials.

Where to Watch the Genshin Impact 2.7 Livestream
The Genshin Impact 2.7 Livestream is broadcast on the Genshin Impact Twitch Channel. The Program is available in Simplified Chinese and English.
Another option to catch the show live is via the Genshin Impact Tik Tok account.
If players miss the live version, the Special Program will be available on the Genshin Impact YouTube Channel at roughly 11am EST.
Genshin Impact 2.7 Delayed
The theory with bigger support from the community considers that Genshin Impact 2.7 will go live on June 1, 2022.
We either get a banner featuring Jean and Diluc after Ayaka's banner is over, or we will get no banner and a Log-in event with Intertwined Fates.

Character and Weapon Banners
- Genshin Impact 2.7 will be the official debut of Yelan. Although he is not the only character in the first phase, Xiao's second rerun will be in tandem with Yelan's release.
- The upcoming update will mark the return of the Arataki gang, with the rerun of Arataki Itto and the introduction of Kuki Shinobu.
- The Weapon Banners will feature the new 5-star sword: Aqua Simulacra. In addition, we will have the return of the Primordial Jade Winged-Spear, Redhorn Stonethresher, and Memory of Dust.
- Fading Twilight, the 4-star bow, will be the new F2P weapon.
Events and Stories
- Genshin Impact 2.7 will introduce Yelan with a Story Quest related to the Chasm
- During the ver. 2.7 events, players will have a music festival organized by Itto, and follow the tracks of the Electro Yaksha Bosacius.
