Yelan is the upcoming 5-star character in Genshin Impact 2.7, a secret agent that works for the Ministry of Civil Affairs in Liyue.
Recent leaks have revealed Yelan's abilities and playstyle and some other essential details ahead of her arrival.
Yelan, a Hydro Bow user, will be a very dynamic character that will introduce some entirely new mechanics to the game.

Here's everything we know about Yelan's Abilities and Constellations in Genshin Impact 2.7.
Release Date
Yelan will arrive in the first banner of the Genshin Impact 2.7 update on May 11, 2022, and it will run until June 1, 2022.
Version 2.7 will release two new characters. The first of these characters is Yelan. The second is Kuki Shinobu, who will most likely be featured along with Arataki Itto in the second half of the patch.
Normal Attacks: Stealthy Bowshot
Yelan performs 4 consecutive shots with a bow, doing a dash backward in the last two hits.
Breakthrough Barb: After 5s of being outfield, her charged attack will inflict Hydro AoE DMG.

Yelan fires a lifeline that pulls her rapidly; while sprinting, Yelan will mark enemies. After a specific time, marked enemies will explode.
Each enemy will grant a 34% chance to obtain Breakthrough Barb.

- Cooldown: 10 Seconds

Elemental Burst - Depth Clarion Dice
Yelan inflicts AoE DMG and creates an Exquisite Throw that will replicate Yelan attacks. The coordinated attacks DMG is based on Yelan's max HP.

- Cooldown: 22 seconds
- Energy Cost: 70 Particles

- Yelan gains 25% more rewards when dispatched on a Liyue Expedition for 20 hours.
Turn Control
- When the party has 1/2/3/4 Elemental Types, Yelan's Max HP is increased by 6%/12%/18%/30%.
Adapt With Ease (Lv. 60)
- So long as an Exquisite Throw is in play, the active character deals 1% more DMG.
- This increases by a further 3.5% DMG every second. The maximum increase to DMG dealt is 50%.
Latest - Yelan Specialty
Yelan's special dish Dew-Dipped Shrimp is a variation of the Stir-Fried Shrimp.
Dew-Dipped Shrimp is a more neat version of the Shrimp plate from Liyue, she incorporates tea from Qiaoying Village.
The recipe requires the following ingredients:
- 4 Shrimp Meat
- 3 Flour
- 3 Snapdragon Flower

Constellations
Yelan's constellations are pretty straightforward. They increased the DMG output of Yelan's abilities. Constellation 6 looks extremely powerful with a 130% DMG boost.
