Genshin Impact Prepares to Celebrate Its One Year Anniversary: Passage of Clouds and Stars


Genshin Impact was released on September 28, 2020, which means that the game's one-year anniversary is rapidly approaching.

Over the past year, players have been treated to a multitude of updates including new characters, new areas to explore, fantastic events, and more.

Genshin Impact has gone above and beyond what many free-to-play gatcha games offer their players, so it is no surprise they have something special up their sleeve for the anniversary of the game's release.

Genshin Impact Anniversary Date

Being an anniversary celebration of Genshin Impact, the celebration date is planned for September 28, 2021, exactly one year after its initial release.

The celebration will be available for all Genshin Impact players on the PC, PlayStation, and mobile devices.

Genshin Impact's Passage of Clouds and Stars will allow players to earn rewards such as Mora, Mystic Enhancement Ore, and Hero's Wit for completing daily check-ins.

The most exciting part about the event is that fans will also earn a total of 10 Intertwined Fates during this period, allowing them to pull a 10 Wish from either the Character Event Banner or Epitome Invocation Banner.

miHoYo will also reset Genesis Crystal bonuses, meaning players who previously obtained the bonuses for purchasing Genesis Crystals will be able to do so again.

Engraved Wishes

miHoYo will also be celebrating the one-year anniversary of Genshin Impact with a six-and-a-half-foot-tall Paimon Statue made up of 50,000 bricks engraved with messages from Genshin Impact players.

From September 6th, 2021 until September 27, 2021, players can send a message via the Engraved Wishes website.

miHoYo will select 50,000 messages at random to engrave on Paimon Bricks and build the statue that is planned to unveil in China in October.

HoYoMiX and Sony Music are proud to announce an Inazuma OST performed by the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra and a Genshin’s Orchestral Concert held online featuring orchestras from the US, Belgium, and South Africa.

The concert will be held sometime this fall, while there is no information on the release date of the Inazuma OST.
