Who is Ayaka?
Ayaka is a 5-Star Cryo Sword user in Genshin Impact, known as the Homeward Heron. The eldest daughter of Inazuma's Kamisato Clan.
Ayaka is also part of the Yashiro Commission which oversees the cultural heritage of the Electro Nation.
A powerful Cryo character, with very high potential for Burst Damage, with efficient elemental application.
Strengths
- Ayaka's ascension status is CRIT DMG (Increa with levels)
- Use and special sprint that allows her to go under surface, faster and infuse her DMG with Cryo.
- High Elemental AoE Burst damage is easy to use.
- Long-range charged attack.

The best direction to take is to use a 4-Piece Blizzard Strayer set. Ayaka's damage mostly comes from her Cryo Element, so focusing on a 4-piece set will boost both her Cryo DMG and CRIT Rate.
Ayaka can keep enemies frozen most of the time which will increase her Crit. Rate up to 40%
Players who do not have a 4-pieces set of Blizzard Strayer can mix a 2-piece Blizzard Strayer set with a 2-piece Gladiator's Finale set to boost both her Cryo DMG and ATK.

The best free-to-play option is the craftable 4-Star Amenoma Kageuchi, increasing Ayaka DMG output.

Ayaka is a Main-DPS best supported by Kazuha as a Sub-DPS, buffing her Cryo and dealing additional damage with his skills.
Kokomi will provide consistent healing and hydro application to freeze enemies.
But the character that pushes Ayaka to her highest potential is Shenhe, with the strongest boost to the Cryo element.
