Genshin Impact Chongyun Hangout Guide

Genshin Impact 1.4 is out, and along with it comes brand new Hangout Events.

The four Hangout Events are unlocked by using three Story Keys, which are obtained by completing Daily Commissions.

Chongyun's Hangout has six endings with rewards, all of which are outlined below as spoiler-free as possible.

Genshin Impact Chongyun Hangout

There are six different endings for Chongyun that produce rewards. The rewards are as follows:

• Obtain 1 Memory
  • 100 Adventure EXP, 5 Hero’s Wit, 5 Teyvat Charred Egg
• Obtain 2 Memory
  • 100 Adventure EXP, 20 Primogems, 3 Guide to Resistance
• Obtain 3 Memories
  • 100 Adventure EXP, 5 Hero’s Wit, 3 Agnidus Agate Fragments
• Obtain 3 Memories
  • 100 Adventure EXP, 20 Primogems, 5 LTeyvat Charred Egg
• Obtain 5 Memories
  • 100 Adventure EXP, 5 Hero’s Wit, 3 Agnidus Agate Fragments
• Obtain 6 Memories
  • 100 Adventure EXP, 20 Primogems, 3 Guide to Resistance

It does not matter which order you obtain the memories.

Starting the Hangout

Once unlocked, the first step in the Chongyun Hangout Event is to head to the marked area on the map in Liyue.

Once players start the conversation with Noelle, certain choices will cause the hangout path to branch out.

Once at least one Memory is complete, players can start the event at any point they have already reached, saving them time from having to start from the beginning each time.

Memory 1: Blessing In Disguise

A good ending with an interesting path, the Blessing In Disguise ending requires players to make the following choices when asked:

• (They all sound pretty farfetched, perhaps I should just tell him that.)
• "How about some water?"
• "It looked tasty."
• "Let's go and ask him."
• "A Curious Gaze"
• "What if you just give him one of the popsicles?"
• "There's a ghostly shadow skulking about Feiyun Slope at night. It's suspected to be a vengeful spirit."
• "Deep in the Sea of Clouds, a marauding demon has been raiding commercial fishing boats and building a luxurious palace."
• "There is a vigilant demon adept at concealing itself in mist. Recently, people have found traces of it in Mingyun Village, Guili Plains, and Yaoguang Shoal."
• "Such... enviable friendship."
• "The Rumored Heretical Ground"
• "So it seems the clue was real."
• "I'll leave this to you."
• "You're very calm."
• "It's a shame that we can't take care of it for good."
• "Now you're comforting me?"
• "I'm just doing my duty."

The event will complete once Genshin Impact players received the memory. They may then pick up where they left off to obtain the next ending.

Memory 2: Idle Amusements

This path is really cute. Players can follow the conversation path below, starting at any point they have already obtained:

• "That is an admirable job."
• "Test of Courage... Doesn't that sound like an advertisement?"
• (They all sound pretty farfetched, perhaps I should just tell him that.)
• "How about some water?"
• "It looked tasty."
• "Let's go and ask him."
• "Since he has a sister, you should probably give him both."
• "Are they difficult to make?"
• "I was the one who convinced you to give away all your popsicles in the first place."
• "I often cook for myself when adventuring in the wilderness."
• "Let's try Mist Flower and Qingxin."
• "Let's try Sunsettia and Valberres."
• "There's no need to worry."
• "Actually, we've made some more."
• "Don't eat them all in one go, you'll get brain freeze!"
• "That's right, we're great partners."
• "Let's go play with them for a while."
• "Just treat it as if you're getting together with friends."
• "Let me play the ghost first."
• "Who knows, maybe you'll be good at this."
• "It's only your first time."
• "But you can easily be seen here."
• "Maybe we could play it together again sometime."
• "I want to try some, too!"
• "It's delicious!"
• "It seems you're becoming quite popular."

The event will complete once Genshin Impact players received the memory. They may then pick up where they left off to obtain the next ending.

Memory 3: Can't Beat This Heat

Poor Chongyun. Similar to the other endings, players should follow the guide at whichever point is the farthest they have obtained:

• "How about some water?"
• "It looked tasty."
• "Let's go and ask him."

• "I often cook for myself when adventuring in the wilderness."
• "Let's try Jueyun Chili and Slime Concentrate."

The event will complete once Genshin Impact players received the memory. They may then pick up where they left off to obtain the next ending.

Memory 4: Nothing Gained

Possibly the shortest hangout path of all. Follow the guide, selecting the farthest point along already obtained:

• (Although they all seem farfetched, I'd better not tell him that. He seems to be the persistent character.)
• "Let's both drink it. If you lose control, I'll be sure to take care of you."
• "Sure, just have a rest. I'll continue investigating on my own."

The event will complete once Genshin Impact players received the memory. They may then pick up where they left off to obtain the next ending.

Memory 5: Goodbyes

A bit sad, but a great ending. Follow the guide, selecting the farthest point along already obtained:

• "(Although they all seem farfetched, I'd better not tell him that. He seems to be the persistent character.)"
• "Let's both drink it. If you lose control, I'll be sure to take care of you."
• "Let me help you find a place to rest."
• "I'll go get some Cryo Slime Condensate for you."
• "I'll go get some Cryo Whopperflower Nectar for you."
• "Remember that strange mist we found earlier? I would like to investigate that further."

After receiving the memory the event will conclude, with all the rewards unlocked at this point.

Memory 6: Small Regrets

One small change in choice changes the entire path here. Follow the guide, selecting the farthest point along already obtained:

• "(Although they all seem farfetched, I'd better not tell him that. He seems to be the persistent character.)"
• "Let's both drink it. If you lose control, I'll be sure to take care of you."
• "Let me help you find a place to rest."
• "I'll go get some Cryo Slime Condensate for you."
• "I'll go get some Cryo Whopperflower Nectar for you."
• "Right, let's head back."

After receiving the memory the event will conclude, with all the rewards unlocked at this point.
