Dehya, the eremite warrior, is becoming the new 5-star character in Genshin Impact 3.5, and recent leaks from the beta revealed Dehya's Abilities and Constellations.
She looks like an entertaining character to play. Dehya will combine Claymore Slashes and Martial Arts in combat and will protect her teammates taking damage for them.

Genshin Impact Dehya Release Date
Dehya will be part of the character banners in Genshin Impact 3.5 which will go live on March 1, 2023.
However, HoYoverse will announce the exact date for her banner and the characters that will be featured alongside Dehya.
Dehya Abilities Leaks
She was part of the saviors of the Dendro Archon. Dehya battled the Fatui and the Akademiya to rescue Nahida after being kidnap by Dottore.
Dehya will have a Pyro vision and a Claymore as a weapon. She will combine sword slashes with martial arts attacks while tanking DMG for the team.
Normal Attack
Performs up to 4 consecutive strikes using her Claymore and her martial arts.

Elemental Skill - Molten Inferno
Dehya's Elemental Skill is complex on paper, but we will try to simplify it:
- When the Molten Inferno is activated will create an AoE that will produce the following effects:
- First, increase the resistance to interruption of characters inside the area.
- Molten Inferno makes coordinated attacks with Pyro DMG and Pyro Application.
- The characters inside the area will receive reduced DMG, and Dehya will take the damage instead, but she can't die this way.
- During the duration of the Molten Inferno, Dehya can make a jump attack and reposition the field once.
- Similar to Albedo Elemental Skill.
- Field Duration 12
- Cooldown: 18 s
Indomitable Flame |
This skill will be unleashed should there be no Fiery Sanctum created by Dehya herself present at the time.
Deals AoE Pyro DMG, and creates a field known as Fiery Sanctum. |

Dehya will perform a leaping attack, dealing AoE Pyro DMG before recreating a Fiery Sanctum field at her new position.

Only 1 Ranging Flame can be used throughout a single Fiery Sanctum field's duration. |
Fiery Sanctum | When an opponent within a Fiery Sanctum field takes DMG, the field will unleash a coordinated attack, dealing AoE Pyro DMG to them. This effect can be triggered once every 2.5s.
Active characters within this field have their resistance to interruption increased, and when such characters take DMG, a portion of that damage will be mitigated and flow into Redmane's Blood.
Dehya will then take this DMG over 10s. When the mitigated DMG stored by Redmane's Blood reaches or goes over a certain percentage of Dehya's Max HP, she will stop mitigating DMG in this way.
Only 1 Fiery Sanctum created by Dehya herself can exist at the same time. |
Elemental Burst - The Lioness' Bite
Dehya drops the Claymore and attacks enemies with her fist infused with Pyro. Her Normal Attacks will also increase the damage and speed.
At the end of the elemental burst, Dehya will kick the ground inflicting AoE Pyro DMG.

Unleashing her burning anger and casting her blade aside like an inconvenience, Dehya enters the Blazing Lioness state and gains resistance to interruption.
Dehya will automatically and continuously unleash the Flame-Mane's Fists in this state, dealing with Pyro DMG. She will unleash an Incineration Drive kick when it ends, dealing AoE Pyro DMG.

In this state, her Normal Attacks will be replaced by Roaring Barrages. Unleashing Roaring Barrage within 0.4 after each Flame-Mane's Fist strike will increase the trigger speed of the next Flame-Mane's Fist strike.
If a Fiery Sanctum field created by Dehya's own Elemental Skill, Molten Inferno, exists when this ability is unleashed, Dehya will retrieve it, and then create another field once Blazing Lioness' duration expires. This field will then take on the retrieved field's duration at the moment of its retrieval. |

Dehya Constellations in Genshin Impact
It seems Dehya's Constellations are pretty balanced. They increase her damage output and survivability. Therefore, she will protect her teammates by taking more damage.
Constellation 6 is a significant spike in the Critical DMG, making Dehya an excellent DPS.

C3 - A Rage Swift as Fire | Increases the Level of The Lioness' Bite by 3.
Maximum upgrade level is 15. |
C4 - An Oath Abiding | When Flame-Mane's Fist and Incineration Drive attacks unleashed during The Lioness' Bite hit opponents, they will restore 1.5 Energy for Dehya and 2% of her Max HP. This effect can occur once every 0.2s. |
C5 - The Alpha Unleashed | Increases the Level of Molten Inferno by 3.
Maximum upgrade level is 15. |
C6 - The Burning Claws Cleaving | The CRIT Rate of The Lioness' Bite is increased by 10%.
Additionally, after a Flame-Mane's Fist attack hits an opponent and deals CRIT Hits during a single use of The Lioness' Bite, it will cause the CRIT DMG of The Lioness' Bite to increase by 15% for the rest of its duration and extend that duration by 0.5s.
This effect can trigger every 0.2s. The duration can be extended for a maximum of 2s, and CRIT DMG can be increased by a maximum of 60%. |
