Genshin Impact The Summoner's Summit Guide: Everything you need to know

Geshin Impact patch 3.7 brings with it a brand new flagship event. Duel! The Summoner's Summit is a tournament that has attracted attention from all across Teyvat. This multi-phase event will last a while and offer several lucrative rewards.

Duel! The Summoner's Summit Event Schedule

The Summoner's Summit event will release on 25 May 2023, one day after the release of Genshin Impact's Patch 3.7. However, it's a flagship event, and in traditional fashion, it will slowly be unlocked after various phases. Here are the dates to look out for.

Duel! The Summoner's Summit Event Requirements

There are a couple of requirements you need to clear before you can participate in the event. They are as follows:

• Adventurer Rank 32 or above
• Complete the Archon Quest Chapter 2: Act 1 Ritou Escape Plan
• Complete the Genius Invokation TCG world quest Battlefield of Dice, Cats, and Cards
• There are some other requirements, such as the Raiden Shogun and Mona's story quests, however, you can skip these by pressing the Quick Start button on the event menu.

Duel! The Summoner's Summit Events

While the main theme of the tournament revolves around the Genius Invokation TCG, there are several other bonus challenges that you need to overcome as well. The event will have you challenge four separate mini-games, each with its own unique mechanics and set of rewards. Let's look into the various different trials and challenges you will be participating in. Each of these challenges unlocks one after the other.

A Tour of Wonders

The first mini-game is exploration oriented and requires travellers to collect stamps from all across Teyvat.

It's a sightseeing tour that has you take in the beautiful views of Teyvat while collecting stamps as proof of your travels. However, no exploration quest can be so simple, so the tournament committee has prepared obstacle courses and enemies for you to face as you try your hand at these timed challenges. Once completed, you can trade the stamps in for rewards at the event shop.

Zero Hour Invokation

This one comes as no surprise to anyone, as the Genius Invokation TCG is set to be the centrepiece of the Summoner's Summit event. Hope you've learned how to play the Genius Invokation TCG, and if you haven't, now is the best time to get the fundamentals down. However, in a twist to make the experience accessible and fair, the event organizers will be the ones providing the cards.

You will get access to a handful of decks and will need to mix and match cards to create a deck that suits your playstyle. Make sure to experiment with provided cards, as the challenge has been balanced around these limited resources.

Evermotion Mechanical Painting: Invoker

If you've played previous mechanical painting events, you will be no stranger to this minigame. This time the painting is TCG based, and each painting hides a TCG-themed card behind it. For the uninitiated, the mechanical painting minigame involves a small mechanical puzzle board with various gears stacked on it, both vertically and horizontally.

Your job is to use the gears provided and get the whole gearbox moving. It can take a bit of effort, but you have access to a bunch of retries, so it shouldn't be too difficult.

Heart of the Dice

A brand new TCG-themed combat mini-game that spices up the pace of this event. The Heart of Dice minigame features combat with large mobs and powerful enemies that can easily overwhelm your team if you're unprepared.

However, you're provided with the Elemental Dice from the TCG, and each Element has its own unique ability or buff for you to utilize. Make smart use of the dice you've been dealt and make mincemeat of those enemies in no time. Defeat as many opponents as you can and get a high score to unlock all the rewards.
