Fishing continues to take Genshin Impact by storm, with players greedily snatching up fish like they are going out of style as soon as the mechanic was added back in Genshin Impact 2.1.
Pufferfish are especially popular, though not as easy to find as some other fish in the game.
Genshin Impact Pufferfish locations
Pufferfish are found in several different locations around Teyvat.
Mondstadt sports several locations, including south of Mondstadt and the lake near Dawn Winery.
Whereas Liyue only has one, just southeast of the Harbor:
Inazuma has three spread out across the regions.
There is one at the docks on Ritou, one near the shipwreck on Nazuchi Beach, and one Seirai Island.
How to catch Pufferfish
Pufferfish require a bit more effort to catch than most fish, having a bit more strength.
The only bait they will take is Fake Fly Bait, and pulling them takes a bit longer than expected.
Other than that, they are caught just like any other fish in Genshin Impact.
Keep in mind that Pufferfish take three days to respawn.
