Here is how to pre-load the 1.6 update.

1.6 Release Date

The Genshin Impact 1.6 update will be launching on Wednesday, June 9th at 6 am UTC+8, which is 6 pm EST/11 pm BST on Tuesday, June 8th.

How To Pre-Load

Ahead of the next update, players can pre-load the patch early so once downtime ends they can jump straight back into the game and check out all of the new additions that have been added.

Here is how to pre-load.

PC

When opening the launcher you will be prompted to update it, you will need to update the launcher before you next play regardless of whether you pre-load so make sure this is done.

Epic Games Store

Alongside the 1.6 update, Genshin Impact will be released on Epic Games Store in addition to the regular Genshin Impact launcher.

The game can be added to your wishlist now to be notified when the game goes live on June 8th.

This version isn't different to the current one, it will just help provide more visibility to reach new players.
