Genshin Impact's Dendro Yaoyao Video Leak

Well-known Genshin Impact leaker, Lumie, recently posted a new video of the game's first Dendro character, Yaoyao, on Twitter.

The video comes from the Genshin Impact's closed-beta, which is currently testing version 1.5 of the game.

While nothing from the closed beta is set in stone, this is the first real look fans have of Yaoyao in-game.

Genshin Impact's First Dendro Character

While the Genshin Impact closed-beta is currently in version 1.5 testing, the above was taken from the very first closed-beta, meaning this is no indication Yaoyao will arrive in the next major update.

Rumored to be a Dendro catalyst, Yaoyao would be the first playable Dendro character in Genshin Impact.

Fans are eagerly awaiting the next child character to arrive in Genshin Impact ever since details of Yaoyao first surfaced online.

While Yaoyao's walking animation is not huge news in itself and may actually change, this is the first time fans have gotten a look at Yaoyao in-game.

When Will Yaoyao Release?

There is currently no release date for Yaoyao, though there is still a possibility she may be a surprise release in Genshin Impact 1.4, similar to how Hu Tao was released in 1.3.

Knowing about a character, seeing their in-game models, and even hearing about how closed-beta players are using them give players no idea of the character's release.

Genshin Impact fans are still eagerly awaiting Dainsleif, who miHoYo officially announced last year, even releasing their Japanese and English voice actor details.

Similarly, leaks about every aspect of Hu Tao circulated online for quite a while before her recent release as a surprise Event Banner for version 1.3.
