The Lumitoile is a local speciality of Fontaine, shaped like a starfish, with a blue centre and purple tips. Its item description describes it as 'A soft-bodied animal that emits a gentle light, often found climbing the walls of buildings near the water or underwater.' These soft-bodied creatures emit a gentle light and are often found scaling the walls of buildings near water sources or underwater. Lumitoiles are primarily located in the Liffey Area.
There are currently 78 Lumitoile in the wild. As is customary, Lumitoile respawns after 48 hours.
Despite being overlooked by divers for their weak light emission, these small creatures possess a remarkable ability to consume and break down industrial waste present in the water. It is said that researchers once aspired to grant Lumitoiles the title of 'Honorary Ecological Engineer,' but the proposal was rejected by the Senior Technician at the time.
Lumitoile locations and best farming route in Genshin Impact
You can find Lumitoiles on the walls of buildings near water sources or underwater in the Liffey Area of Fontaine, particularly by Mont Esus East. They can also be found on the coast of the Fontaine Research Institute!
Liffey Region
The majority of Lumitoiles are concentrated in the Liffey Region of Fontaine, totalling around 73. As highlighted in the image above, these starfish-like creatures can be found both above and below the water's surface.
Begin your Lumitoile harvest by teleporting to the southernmost Statue of The Seven in the Liffey Region. We recommend that you first gather the stray Lumitoiles along the southern coast of the Liffey Region then make your way towards Mont Esus.
Central Laboratory Ruins (Northeast)
Along the northeastern coast of the Central Laboratory Ruins in the Fontaine Research Institute of Kinetic Energy Engineering Region, there will be five Lumitoiles waiting for you!
What to use Lumitoile on in Genshin Impact
Lumitoile serves as a character ascension material. Players will need to acquire 168 Lumitoile to fully ascend Neuvillette.
