Genshin Impact Moonchase Festival Leaks: Yunjin and Yelan

It seems no matter how hard miHoYo tries to crack down on Genshin Impact leaks, the leaks still come.

Recently, two new characters were discovered in a leaked cutscene from the upcoming Genshin Impact 2.1 Moonlight Merriment event, an event that takes place during Liyue's Moonchase Festival.

Genshin Impact Yelan and Yunjin

The above video will take place during the upcoming event and contains short glimpses of two new characters, Yelan and Yunjin.

Players have previously gotten a look at Yunjin through a leaked character model, though now it seems the character has an Anemo vision.

Her model initially leaked alongside Kazuha, Hu Tao, Yao Yao, and others.

The vision originally seen with her looked to be a Geo vision, though that seems to have changed.

Yelan, on the other hand, is a character never seen before, unless you count Fu Hua in Honkai Impact, similar to how Raiden Shogun and Yae Miko are based on characters from Genshin Impact's sister game.

Yelan appears to be a Hydro Polearm user, dressed similarly to those from the Guhua clan.

This would make sense, as the clan is well known for its Light Piercer polearm style.

When Will We See Them?

Genshin Impact fans may have to wait sometime before we see these two new characters in-game other than in the above cutscene.

Other leaks have revealed that Kamisato Ayaka's brother, Ayato, will also make a future appearance as a playable character.

Players need to keep in mind that miHoYo has yet to release Yae Miko, Thoma, and Gorou, though Thoma has been confirmed for Genshin Impact 2.2.

There are also rumors of reruns coming up, with the games Hu Tao, Ganyu, and Albedo floating around.
