How To Watch

If there's one thing miHoYo do well, it's sticking to their schedules and following their pre-established routines. This means it's going to be pretty easy to figure out how the Genshin Impact 1.5 Livestream is going to pan out.

The Livestream is expected to go live at 11:00 EST / 16:00 BST on the Genshin Impact YouTube channel and we're expecting a miHoYo blogpost to drop moments before this detailing everything going on.

This hasn't exactly stopped the slew of leaks following the 1.5 Closed Beta, but we think miHoYo are hoping for a bit of "Good Faith" from its community ahead of the presentation.

What to Expect

So what can Genshin Impact fans expect during the 1.5 Livestream?

Rumours and leaks suggest that Zhongli will return for the first Event banner of the update, with the new 4-Star Pyro Catalyst, Yanfei, included.

The second banner looks like it will be Eula, the new 5-Star Cryo Claymore character, and Spindrift Knight of Mondstadt.

A new housing system for players is also expected, allowing players to own their own home on a private island that can be completely furnished and customized.

New Story Quests for Zhongli and Eula will also be included, with Zhongli's containing a new boss, Azhdaha.

There also seems to be some new artifact sets, Tenacity of the Millelith and Last Act of Foolishness, as well as a new Claymore, Song of Broken Pines, coming.

Whether or not these rumors will pan out is anyone's guess, but many sources are fairly positive that Zhongli, Yanfei, Eula, and the housing system are on their way.

Where does this leave other previously mentioned characters, like Yao Yao, Baizu, and Dainsleif?

Players have a bit more of a wait before to see them, it seems.
