Genshin Impact 1.5 is now available and that means the new events are starting in Teyvat! There's a lot more going on, as you might imagine, and we even have a full Patch Notes from miHoYo to muse over.
NEW EVENT - Energy Amplifier Initiation Details
The Energy Amplifier Initiation Event is due to start soon and we have everything you need to know about what's on the way.
Event Duration
The event itself is going to be on from April 30th at 10:00 Server Time until May 17th at 03:59 Server Time. However, the Event Shop will be available for another week after this.
Eligibility
If you want to participate in the new Genshin Impact Event, all you need to be is over Adventure Rank 20 in-game.
Event Details
It's a pretty simple event, all things considered. All you need to do is collect Fractured Fruit Data and exchange it for various rewards in the Event Shop. If you want the new "Katzlein Cocktail" Diona, this will cost you 1,000 Fractured Fruit Data.
Places of Interest & More
Throughout each Act of the event, there are going to be three new Places of Interest that contain 3 locations. These are where you'll need to go and kill enemies to collect Irminsul Fruit Fragments and Fractured Fruit Data.
In addition to this, there's going to be one new Domain during each Act and this-too will yield Fractured Fruit Data when it is completed.
On top of all this, you can challenge the Twisted Realm during this event and vie for a high score which will again give you Fractured Fruit Data. For the full run-down on how this all works though, check out the miHoYo blog post about the event here.
New Genshin Impact Events
There is a lot going on in the Genshin Impact 1.5 update and we've got all the new events listed below.
Energy Amplifier Initiation
This event will have players searching for Ley Line Fragments using a special, upgradable compass-like device called the Divination Disc.
Hosseini, a researcher from Sumeru, wants these Fractured Fruits and will exchange them for different rewards.
There will be different Domains, Twisted Realms, and POI to obtain these, and the Divination Disc has 11 slots in it that provide players with buffs by placing Fractured Fruits into it.
Diona will be available as a reward for this event.
Battlefront: Misty Dungeon
This event contains timed dungeon trials that players must complete using one of several provided characters.
As players complete trials, new trials will open until the final challenge.
Different trials will place different effects on players, making them a bit harder to complete.
Windtrace Event
Wintrace is very similar to hide-and-seek, a multiplayer event where players will split into teams and disguise themselves as different items or try to find disguised players.
As the game goes on, players can upgrade their hiding or hunting powers, laying traps, or earning the power to become invisible.

Completing games earns the player Windtrace Coins that are used to purchase items from the Event Shop, which includes housing items and the usual types of items such as Primogems and player ascension materials.
Mimi Tomo
In this strange event, the Unusual Hilichurl has been sighted outside of its normal stomping grounds.
Players must team up with Ella Musk to learn the Hilichurl language to discover its latest whereabouts.

By learning different Hilichurl phrases, players can either question or fight Hilichurls to obtain clues to where the Unusual Hilichurl is.
Overflowing Mastery
Overflowing Master is a period of time where Talent Ascension Materials are doubled when completing Domains, similar to the previous Ley Line event where character-levelling items were increased.
Zhongli and Eula Character Events
Act II of Zhongli's Character Quest is coming, introducing the new Azhdaha boss. Zhongli is returning as the main character in the first Character Banner in Genshin Impact 1.5.
In addition to this, Act I of Eula's Character Quest will also be available.
Noelle and Diona Hangout Events
With the success of the Hangout Events from Genshin Impact 1.4, new events featuring Diona and Noelle will arrive in Genshin Impact 1.5
Noelle's will continue where the previous event left off, while the event with Diona will be brand new.
Furthermore, miHoYo has hinted that these events will be a bit more in-depth than the previous hangout events.

This means we could see an expansion of the existing Character Hangouts to keep them up to standard.
