Halo Infinite Season 3

Halo Infinite has almost arrived at Season 3, and after a long wait, we expect a huge drop of new content to come with the updates. The new Battle Pass is just the beginning, as new maps and modes have already been confirmed to get stuck into.

We now have a confirmed release date for Season 3, so if you want to be as prepared as possible, now is the time to drop in and get your eye in. Here's everything you need to know about when the update will arrive and what to expect.

Halo Infinite Season 3 Release Time

Communication about the new season has been sparse so far, but it's expected to last a least a few months, until around the end of June. There will be plenty of time to get stuck into the new maps and modes we expect to drop with the update.

While we don't have an official release time for the new season, it seems likely that it will arrive as soon as possible. We expect Season 3 of Halo Infinite to drop at Midnight on the 7th of March, although this could vary by region.

New events are expected to drop later on in the season, with a new fracture event and a new narrative event expected. The good news is though, that in-game reporting is due to arrive with the launch of Season 3.

Season 3 Battle Pass

As expected with the new season, a brand-new 100 tier Battle Pass will be dropping with the launch of Halo Infinite Season 3. After the Winter Update, these passes may be based on progressive XP bonuses rather than the current challenge system.

There will be at least one new weapon introduced in Halo Infinite Season 3 called the M392 Bandit. This weapon is similar to the DMR, but won't be an exact copy, and it will still have some close-range functions when you need it most.

Along with the new weapon, there is also some new equipment in the form of a Shroud Screen. The new item will shroud players in smoke that hides them from player radar whether they are shooting or not, creating some great outplay opportunity.
