In a couple of days, League of Legends 11.20 will be upon us! Here are all of the latest details as we approach release time.
LoL 11.20 Release Time
The 11.20 officially drops on Wednesday, October 6th, 2021. You'll need a little bit of patience for server maintenance to pass, as usual.
LoL 11.20 will take servers down at 6am EST, before returning with the update at 9am EST. This of course can be extended however depending on technical difficulties.
The Harrowing 2021
Anticipated to be available mid month, The Harrowing Event ushers in the spookiest time of the year. We'll keep you posted once details are finalized.
Bewitching 2021 Skins
To celebrate Halloween, LoL brings this year's new Bewitching skins.
These are an ode to trick-or-treating, with your favorite Champions donned in costumes during the Harrowing, and are a part of the myths and legends of Halloween.
The skins are part of The Demonic Universe and are classified into:
- Trick or Treat
- Vampires
- Monsters
- Witches
Riot Games will feature new Bewitching skins for these Champions:
- Fiora
- Nami
- Poppy
- Syndra
- Yuumi
Along with these skins, Morgana receives her Prestige Edition as well!
Annie Teaser
LoL's official Twitter account posted a teaser saying "Something victorious is coming your way..." with a photo of a stuffed bear looking like Annie's.
This most likely means that Victorious Annie will be an upcoming skin and the Ranked reward for this season.
LoL Worlds 2021
Also noteworthy is the confirmation from Riot about the League of Legends World Championship 2021 in Iceland.
The event is slated to happen on these dates:
- Play-In Round 1 - October 5th - 7th
- Play-In Round 2 - October 8th - 9th
- Group Stage - October 11th - 13th and 15th - 18th
- Playoffs - October 22nd - 25th, October 30th - 31st, and November 6th
Teams will for the champion title, the 70-pound Summoner's Cup, and a multi-million-dollar championship amount of $2,225,000 at stake for the tournament's prize pool!
