League of Legends' final update of the year, LoL 12.23, is finally here and it's a sizeable one.

After a long year that was filled with tons of new content, including new skins, champions, and more, it's finally time to wave goodbye to Season 12. What better way to end a year than with a patch like this? The update will bring forth changes to ARAM, adjustments to Dr. Mundo in the jungle, buffs to Zeri, and much more.

LATEST - The Official LoL 12.23 Patch Notes have been Revealed!

Riot Games have revealed the official LoL 12.23 patch notes!

In what will be the final update of the year, players can expect tons of changes to ARAM, Preseason follows ups for tanks, nerfs for junglers such as Mordekaiser, an update for Zeri, and much more.

LoL 12.23 Release Time & Date

Adhering to the League of Legends patch schedule, LoL 12.21 is set to release on Wednesday, December 7, 2022.

As always, players can expect League of Legends servers to go down for maintenance at 6 am EST before going live with the new update at 9 am EST.

This means that once release time comes all of the new skins, buffs, nerfs, and everything in-between will all be live.

LoL 12.23 Patch Notes Highlights

As mentioned previously, although it's the final update of the year, patch 12.23 will be a hefty one as League of Legends fully transitions over to Season 13 in the next year.

Here's a rundown on the 12.23 patch notes:

  • 17 total champions receive buffs, nerfs, or changes
    • Adjustments to Dr. Mundo, Zeri, Tahm Kench, and Kassadin
    • Buffs to Amumu, Cho'Gath, Kayn, Malphite, Maokai, Sion, Yuumi, and Zac
    • Nerfs to Lillia, Mordekaiser, Shyvana, Syndra, Trundle, and Trundle
  • Item Changes
    • Nerfs to Ravenous Hydra
    • Buffs to Sunfire Cape
  • Jungle Adjustments
  • Seven New Skins (which you can view below)

LoL 12.23 Skins

Taking part in LoL 12.23 will be seven new skins—eight of you count a Prestige Edition—in what will be a brand-new skin line, Winterblessed, and the last addition in the Ashen Knight.

Perfectly in time to celebrate the holiday season is a set of seven brand-new winter skins whereupon champions like Diana, Zoe, Zilean, Shaco, Swain, and Warwick—who will also have his own Prestige Edition—are decked out from head to toe in wintertime wear.

Information regarding pricing has yet to be revealed. However, we expect most of these skins to cost 1350 RP with one of them reaching 1820 RP. Warwick's Prestige skin will then likely cost 2000 Prestige Points based on Riot's recent history.

Ashen Gravenknight Mordekaiser 2022

Alongside the new Winterblessed skins will be the fourth addition to the Ashen Knight skin line, Ashen Gravenknight Mordekaiser. Giving Pyke, Pantheon, and Sylas company in the line, Mordekaiser doubled down on his darker side as the Iron Revenant. He'll boast even darker colors.

TO THE GRAVE: Mordekaiser joins the Ashen Knight skin line

Players can most likely expect to spend to pay up to 100 Mythic Essence on Mordekaiser's new skin if past skins serve as any indication.

The purchase would also come with a new icon and a loading screen border. Additionally, Ashen Gravenknight Mordekaiser will have a unique Chroma, Emberwoken Ashen Gravenknight Mordekaiser.
