Preparations for the Mid-Season Invitational (MSI), have begun and the developers over at Riot want to hunker down on the meta. The best way to do that is with the release of the LoL 13.7 patch.
Although this patch won't have a brand-new champion, like 13.6's Milio, players can expect a huge host of champions to be buffed, nerfed, or adjusted. From Katarina, Kalista, and Graves to the likes of Veigar and Annie, it'll be a wide swath of changes.

LoL 13.6 Release Date
Adhering to the League of Legends patch schedule for Season 13, LoL 13.7 is set to release on Wednesday, April 5, 2023.
Once the patch is live, players will be able to enjoy numerous new skins, the new event, as well as plenty of buffs, nerfs, and overall changes from its patch notes.

Riot begins to hunker down on the meta as MSI is on the way
The first international League of Legends event of the year, MSI, is almost here, and in response to that, Riot Games want to make sure they hunker down on the meta.
According to Riot developers Matt "Phroxzon" Leung-Harrison on Twitter, "We're 2 patches away from MSI! Meta looks close, but some adjustments." This means several champions are receiving changes.

Grevious Wounds
- Oblivion Orb, Morellonomicon, Chemtech Putrifier, Executioner's Calling, Mortal Reminder, Chempunk Chainsword now all apply Grevious Wounds to targets where the damage would be completely blocked by a shield. Invulnerable targets will still not have Grevious Wounds applied.
LoL 13.7 Skins
As always with a new patch, new skins get added to the game for players to enjoy. For LoL 13.7 there are four skins in total for players to enjoy.
In the new update, players will get to enjoy additions to the Cats vs. Dogs skin line.
Cats vs. Dogs 2023
Coming in as the official April Fools skins this year are additions to the Cats vs. Dogs line.
Champions such as Kled, Kindred, Yuumi, and Nidalee will be taking on cat and dog themes. It is expected that most of the skins will cost 1350 RP with one of them possibly priced at 1820 RP.
These four champions will be joining the likes of Fizz, Warwick, Corki, Maokai, and Rengar.
