Quarter-Final 1 - JD Gaming vs Rogue

JD Gaming is a tough draw in Quarter-Finals, and the short straw fell to Rogue. While no match would have been easy, this will be the toughest test they've faced yet at Worlds.

Rogue have looked excellent when they can play to their strengths, and their strength is Comp. Together with Trymbi he has been able to outclass some of the best in the World, and will be crucial to any success Rogue have.

JDG however have showed that any member of their team can step up and be the carry. 369 on Aatrox, Yagao on Sylas, Hope on Lucian, or even Kanavi on Viego, are just some of the examples. Their flexibility will be key in best-of-fives.

Quarter-Final 2 - T1 vs RNG

T1 vs RNG is a match for the ages. Just this year, RNG took down T1 in the MSI finals in an agonising 3:2 game, but the history of these organisations is long. Last time they met at NA Worlds in 2016, T1 took the series 3:1.

Allowing for some covid issues from RNG, this looks like it will be a hard fought series that either team could take. Both look on the best form they have been in years, and will be desperate to take the win, and play the winner of Rogue vs JDG.

Quarter-Final 3 - GenG vs Damwon KIA

GenG and DK are two teams that are intricately familiar with each other. Both regular season matches went the way of GenG, but with a 2:1 scoreline, so Damwon has shown the ability to triumph.

Especially with their form in Groups, and with GenG looking shaky at times, this could be the time that Damwon finally triumph over their long rivals. If both are on top form, it will be an awesome series to watch at Worlds.

Quarter-Final 4 - DRX vs EDG

While EDG are coming in as the reigning World Champions, and DRX went undefeated in Play-ins, neither has looked flawless in Groups. This could make for the most exciting match of all, as we can expect one big carry performance to swing the tides.

Zeka has showed brilliance for DRX, his Akali in particular terrorising teams all tournament. Viper too has showed the form that took home Worlds last year.
