Madden 21 Next Gen: Lambeau Leap coming to EA game at last

EA's next-gen update for Madden 21 is due for release on 4 December, and they are slowly releasing news for it.

After some updates about player movement and next-gen stats, the latest piece of news is all about how the next-gen game looks.

Their latest release is all about the look of the game, and something that has been missing for a while.

Get the crowd involved

Thankfully, Madden hasn't gone ultra-realistic and removed the crowds this year.

This bit of escapism means they can still implement something that should have been in Madden a long time ago - crowd involved celebrations!

  • FirstEnergy Stadium – Cleveland Browns
  • Raymond James Stadium – Tampa Bay Buccaneers
  • Arrowhead Stadium – Kansas City Chiefs
  • MetLife Stadium – New York Giants and New York Jets
  • TIAA Bank Field – Jacksonville Jaguars (one endzone)
  • Lambeau Field – Green Bay Packers
  • Pro Bowl (one endzone)
  • Allegiant Stadium – Las Vegas Raiders (one endzone)
  • Mercedes-Benz Superdome – New Orleans Saints
  • NRG Stadium – Houston Texans
  • Nissan Stadium – Tennessee Titans

Next-gen builds gameday feeling

In-game presentation for Madden has been basically the same for years now. Thankfully next-gen looks like it will change at least some of that.

New player, bench, and fan reactions will create a much-improved atmosphere.

BENCHED: The sidelines have needed a makeover for a while now

EA also boast that the improved hardware will allow them to finally make sideline players actually look like real players, while giving them the ability to also move out of the way of incoming balls & live players.

Haptic feedback/adaptive triggers on PS5

The DualSense controller offers a lot of cool features for developers to integrate. One of the is haptic feedback.

This will allow you to feel catches, tackles, and blitzes through the controller.

Meanwhile, the adaptive triggers will let you feel resistance when trying to break tackles or sprinting on low stamina.

Madden 21 on next-gen

The next-gen version of Madden 21 releases on 4 December.

You don't have to wait until then to play on your PS5 or Xbox Series X though. The PS4 and Xbox One versions are playable on next-gen, and thanks to Dual Entitlement you won't need to buy Madden again.
