Madden 21 Ultimate Team refuses to call it quits, and Golden Ticket is thriving even longer than expected with more surprise releases.

Latest - Surprise release of more Golden Ticket players
It looked like Golden Ticket was over, but MUT 21 isn't through just yet as four new Golden Ticket players that weren't part of the original 20 created by gamers have been released.
The four new 99 OVR Golden Ticket players are:
- Jonathan Ogden, QB
- CeeDee Lamb, WR
- Geno Atkins, DT
- Younghoe Koo, K
Fans are already celebrating these additions, and each could quickly become a must-have in Madden 21 Ultimate Team.
Is Golden Ticket coming to MUT 21?
Yes! Golden Ticket is officially returning to Madden 21 Ultimate Team this year!
Golden Ticket has been one of the most beloved Madden Ultimate Team promos in recent years, and fans are looking forward to seeing it in MUT once again.
Like previous years, a few select MUT 21 players got a shot at designing a custom card that will be available in MUT 21 packs soon!

MUT Golden Ticket Release Date & Time
While the opportunity to pull a Golden Ticket and design a player has come and gone, it's now time for the players that were chosen to enter Madden 21 Ultimate Team.
Golden Ticket players started being released on Friday, April 30, 2021, and continued to be dropped on a weekly basis until all players were made available.

With each MUT 21 Golden Ticket having been given away, we now know which players have been chosen by those winners to join Madden 21 Ultimate Team.
When Golden Ticket took place last year for Madden 20, some of the Golden Ticket players included Bo Jackson, Julio Jones, Robert Griffin III, Adrian Peterson, and many others.
Going back another year, the Golden Ticket players for Madden 19 included Cam Newton, JuJu Smith-Schuster, Randy Moss, Lamar Jackson, and more.
This year, the following 20 players have been chosen for Golden Ticket, and every single one has now been released in Madden 21:

- James Morgan, Quarterback
- Derek Carr, Quarterback
- Tim Tebow, Quarterback
- Ryan Tannehill, Quarterback
- Taysom Hill, Quarterback
- Ezekiel Elliott, Halfback

- AJ Brown, Wide Receiver
- Jalen Reagor, Wide Receiver

In addition to the original 20 crafted by those who won a Golden Ticket, there have been four additional Golden Ticket players released so far:

We recently spoke with Madden Champion Henry Leverette, and he chose two of these Golden Ticket cards as his must-haves in Ultimate Team right now for Madden 21.
Golden Opportunities in Madden 21
Unlike previous years, every Madden 21 platform had a shot at a Golden Ticket, including Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, PC, Steam, and Google Stadia.
While previous years required MUT 21 victories, this time you only needed to log in to Madden 21 Ultimate Team, at which time players received three Golden Opportunities.
Golden Opportunities were packs which contained either a coin quicksell or the coveted Golden Ticket collectible.

During each of the previous release windows, a total of 10 Golden Ticket collectibles were be awarded to players, for a total of 20 Golden Ticket collectibles across both dates.
MUT 21 Golden Ticket Rules
If chosen, there were strict rules in how players could design their custom card which will be available soon, and winners were contacted via email by Friday, April 16, 2021.
The MUT 21 Golden Ticket rules were as follows:
- Golden Ticket players must be built off a base player item that has already been released in Madden Ultimate Team this year.
- Golden Ticket players cannot be players that have retired from the NFL during the 2020 season (In other words, Legends are good; however, players who retired this year are not).
- Golden Ticket players cannot use Icons from the Superstar KO mode.
- Golden Ticket players will get a physical chemistry slot.
- Golden Ticket players will get a team chemistry slot. Team chemistry will operate the same way it does for the Veterans program in that the team chemistries available will only be those that the player played for in the NFL in a regular season game.
- Golden Ticket players will get a secondary position chemistry slot (if it applies to them).
- Golden Ticket players will be stand alone player items and will not be eligible to go into Power Ups.
- Winners get to choose which Tier 3 Buckets they want available on their Golden Ticket player. The only restriction is it must be from an archetype from that position. (E.g. Winner could choose for Michael Vick to have a Field General, Strong Arm, Improviser and Scrambler QB ability bucket).
- Golden Ticket Players will receive a 5th ability slot.
- Golden Ticket Players still need to hit the thresholds for abilities. (E.g. Winner could choose Tom Brady but it will be difficult for Brady to achieve the speed requirement for Escape Artist).
- Physical ratings will be handled by the MUT Team but winners will be able to choose up to 3 skill ratings they want to see boosted.
- Golden Ticket Players will not be a Limited Time (LTD) item and will be in packs for the remainder of the year with an increased opportunity to pull them from packs the first 48 hours after their initial release in game.
- Winners get to choose card art from any program released except card art from the Legend LTD and Ultimate Legend Career Edition programs.
- Winners can choose the archetype for ability buckets (Total of 5).
- Winners have 10 days from being contacted to finish designing their Golden Ticket player. If a winner is unable to finish designing their Golden Ticket player in this time period, they will forfeit this opportunity.
- The Madden Ultimate Team reserves the right to refuse any Golden Player ticket selection.
