We've seen multiple reports stating that the Franchise Mode of Madden 22 is currently down ahead of scheduled maintenance.
We're going to take a look at what could be the problem along with the latest news surrounding the game.
Madden 22 Franchise Mode servers down
It would seem that the big problem surrounding the Madden 22 servers is that Franchise Mode is the only area that is affected.
It would also seem, according to Reddit posts, that it's affecting cloud saves. However, we've been unable to confirm this on our own systems?
There are various sites that track the Madden 22 servers and one of these sites (DownDetector seen above) displays that there have been over 250 reports of the Franchise Mode servers being down.
One thing we do know, which has been confirmed, is that there is server maintenance scheduled as well.

Server Maintenance Scheduled
The problems with the Madden 22 servers could stem from the same reason they announced scheduled server maintenance today.
On July 14, 2022, at 5 AM ET, server maintenance will begin, so make sure you have everything saved before then.
At the moment, EA hasn't reported any problems with the Madden 22 servers, but maintenance could suggest something is going on.
We do, however, know that there are going to be some upcoming changes to Madden Ultimate Team.
MUT 22 Updates coming soon
Something that EA did announce via the @MaddeNFLDirect Twitter account is that there are a lot of changes coming to MUT 22.
Solo Battles on the Madden 22 servers have also officially concluded and eventually, we imagine that the online servers will receive less attention.
We feel the latest changes to the Madden 22 servers are likely due to preparation for Madden 23, which will release soon.

- Weekend League will be open for one final weekend this week & includes double weekly rewards.
- June Monthly Weekend League Reward Requirements are now targeted for Thursday, July 14th at 5PM ET.
