Madden 22 Zero Chill is freezing Ultimate Team in a state of constant content with new drops left and right, and the latest news is the Stocking Stuffers Champions.
We've got all the details on which players were picked for these huge new cards and how you'll be able to unlock them in Madden 22 Ultimate Team.
Madden 22: Lamb and Jackson chosen as new Zero Chill Champions
Madden 22 Zero Chill kicked off back on Friday, December 10, 2021 with a huge batch of new players arriving right as things began.
Even with another player release looming on Friday, December 17, EA has chosen to keep their foot to the gas and deliver a whole other drop with Stocking Stuffers on Wednesday, December 15, 2021.
The additional content was revealed during the latest episode of Good Morning Madden, and a total of 34 new players will arrive with Stocking Stuffers in Zero Chill.
The base 32 include one 92 OVR player for every NFL team, but the ultimate goal is acquiring the two Stocking Stuffers Champions from Zero Chill.
The first, and for Cowboys fans the most exciting one, is wide receiver CeeDee Lamb who gets a new 94 OVR Stocking Stuffer Champion card, a solid step up from his previous best in MUT which was a 90 OVR TOTW card.
The upgrade is a bit more significant for Patriots cornerback JC Jackson, as he goes from having an 87 OVR Gridiron card to this new 94 OVR Stocking Stuffer Champion card in Zero Chill.
Whether you're looking for strong options at those positions or building your Cowboys or Patriots Theme Team, both are more than worthwhile.
How to Unlock Stocking Stuffers Champions in Ultimate Team
In order to acquire these new cards, you'll have to put in a good bit of work playing the Zero Chill program in Madden 22 Ultimate Team.
Stocking Stuffers are entirely unlocked in sets, and in order to complete them you'll need many different Zero Chill players of varying ratings.
While we only got a glimpse at the requirements for JC Jackson, we can expect the details to be similar for Lamb.
In order to unlock Stocking Stuffer Champion JC Jackson, you'll need to exchange 3 of the 92 OVR Stocking Stuffer Players, but you'll receive Jackson, his PUP, and your choice of an NCAT for 3 of the 92 OVR Stocking Stuffer Players.
During the stream, we were shown the requirements for two of those Stocking Stuffer Players, and considering they were identical it's likely those requirements remain true for all 32 of them.
To unlock a 92 OVR Stocking Stuffer Player, you'll need to exchange the following:
- 1x 89 OVR Zero Chill Player
- 2x 87 OVR Zero Chill Players
- 3x 85 OVR Zero Chill Players
- 6x 83 OVR Zero Chill Players
After putting that into the set, you'll receive that 92 OVR player and their PUP, and you'll need to do that three different times if you hope to unlock the Stocking Stuffers Champions.
As a result, you'll need the following (put into multiple sets) to unlock both JC Jackson and CeeDee Lamb:
- 6x 89 OVR Zero Chill Players
- 12x 87 OVR Zero Chill Players
- 18x 85 OVR Zero Chill Players
- 36x 83 OVR Zero Chill Players
That'll take a good amount of grinding, but with more players on the way in subsequent drops it should get progressively easier to gather the players you need in Zero Chill.
