Madden 22 Roster Update: Ratings on the rise for four huge names

Madden 22 is ready for the next Roster Update to land, and player ratings are rising for four huge names that have already been revealed.

We've got full details on all the Madden 22 ratings changes we know of so far and when more are expected.

Madden 22: Roster Update brings Week 2 Ratings boost for players

While we don't have all of the players and their adjustments just yet for the Madden 22 Roster Update following week two of NFL action, a handful were revealed on The Checkdown.

RATINGS WATCH: While not revealed yet, Mike Edwards has a strong chance of improving this week

After all putting in strong performances during week two, the following players are getting a boost with these new Madden 22 ratings:

  • Rob Gronkowski, 89 OVR (+2)
  • Terry McLaurin, 90 OVR (+1)
  • Najee Harris, 77 OVR (+1)
  • Derek Carr, 82 OVR (+1)

In addition to their overall boosts, we also learned about some of the individual attributes which increased and likely led to that overall rating improvement.

Gronkowski's boost is rooted in a 3-point boost to his new 93 Rating in Catching and a 6-point leap for his Awareness to give him a 91 Rating there.

Terry McLaurin saw his Spectacular Catch jump up one point to a 92, and his Catch in Traffic also improved one point to an 85.

Najee Harris saw his ratings improvement rooted heavily in a 2-point jump to his Stiff Arm, taking it to an 88 after his epic stiff arm this past week.

Finally, Derek Carr got a 2-point jump to give him an 87 in Throw Accuracy Deep, and his Throw Under Pressure also improved one point to an 85 rating.

Madden 22 Ratings & Roster Update Release Time

While we don't have a confirmed release time from EA, we can look at the timing with which the first roster update landed last week.

After teasing several names via The Checkdown, not unlike how they have this time, the full Madden 22 Ratings and Roster Update was released at 7pm ET / 6pm CT.

However, last week the tweet announcing it as live seem to be met with a delay as the actual EA Madden 22 Ratings Database wasn't updated yet.

That hiccup could end up being resolved this week, but either way we can keep an eye out for things to land sometime this evening or first thing tomorrow morning at the latest.
