Week 6 of the NFL has come to a close which means it's time for more Madden 22 roster updates to begin rolling out.

Before the roster update is revealed in a few days, we thought it'd be fun to make some predictions on the players who deserve a Madden 22 overall boost and those that will decline!

Let's get started on the players who can expect a jump and the ones who'll see a reduction!

Madden 22 Roster Update Predictions after Week 6

Each time the NFL week comes to a close, the Madden 22 ratings are adjusted to make the game more realistic.

Week 6 was an incredible week for receivers, plenty of them showed some extreme talent, especially during crucial moments. We can't forget about the QBs and RBs that showed out either.

Keeping that in mind, let's get started with our winners of the Madden 22 roster update.

The Winners

A number of players will inevitably see a boost to their Madden 22 rating. However, there are a few players in Week 6 that stood out.

Each one of the players listed below performed incredibly in Week 6 and should definitely see a bump in their Madden 22 rating.

Kirk Cousins (QB) - 80 OVR (+2) - Minnesota Vikings

Arguably the most underrated quarterback in the NFL right now had another fantastic week. Kirk Cousins continues to lead the Minnesota Vikings to success each time he takes the field.

KIRKTOBER: Expect QB Kirk Cousins to see a significant ratings jump

When Madden 22 first launched, Kirk Cousins was at a 79 OVR. He's since been increased to an 80 OVR, but after his 373 yard 3 TDs and 0 INTs game against Carolina, we expect he'll go to an 82 OVR.

Jonathan Taylor (RB) - 85 OVR (+1) - Indianapolis Colts

A running back that steamrolled the Houston Texans in Week 6 is definitely deserving of a Madden 22 ratings boost. Taylor was essential in the Indianapolis Colts throttling of the Texans 31-3.

FREIGHT TRAIN: Watch out Derrick Henry, another beast has entered

Taylor's incredible day consisted of 14 carries for 145 yards and 2 touchdowns. His longest run? An 83-yard run from their own 12-yard line. Expect Taylor's rating to jump from 85 OVR to 86 OVR.

CeeDee Lamb (WR) - 81 OVR (+2) - Dallas Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys offense never ceases to amaze the rest of the NFL. Through the first six weeks, they've found ways to overwhelm teams with elite passing and rushing. A vital part of the passing attack in Week 6 was none other than CeeDee Lamb.

SPEED KILLS: CeeDee Lamb is outrunning defensive backs each week

CeeDee Lamb racked up a ton of yards against the New England Patriots, by the end of the game he had 149 yards and led the weekly leaders. His second touchdown came in overtime to win the game.

The Losers

With Madden 22 rating increases, other players also see their ratings reduced. Poor performance will always be rewarded with a reduced Madden 22 overall.

The players listed below had a rough week in the NFL and will likely see their ratings be reduced when the Madden 22 roster update is live.

Jalen Hurts (QB) - 71 OVR (-1) - Philadelphia Eagles

Jalen Hurts has had a rough season so far, but it's not all on him. However, his performance in the Eagles loss to Tampa Bay should see his rating reduced this week.

FLIGHTLESS EAGLES: Jalen Hurts is having a tough time grasping the offense

His rushing ability is outweighing his passing skill. This was shown off by a 12 for 26 and 115-yard passing day. Hurts rating will likely drop by a point when the roster update is released.

Daniel Jones (QB) - 72 OVR (-2) - New York Giants

Another NFC East quarterback that will definitely see a Madden 22 rating reduction is Daniel Jones. Jones was careless with the ball in the Giants game against the Los Angeles Rams, which directly contributed to their 38-11 loss.

Frankly, it wouldn't be surprising after his 3-interception and one fumble game if the Giants go incredibly run-heavy from now on. At least it would keep them from turning the ball over so frequently.

Lamar Jackson (QB) - 93 OVR (-1) - Baltimore Ravens

It's rare when we put a quarterback on here whose team actually won the game. However, Lamar Jackson wasn't much help to the Baltimore Ravens in this one from a passing perspective.

NEW ERA: Lamar Jackson had a tough game through the air in Week 6

He finished the game with one of the lowest passer ratings in the entire NFL for Week 6 at 68.0. He threw two interceptions and passed for just 167 yards. Expect a slight drop in Lamar Jackson's rating in Madden 22.
