Madden 22 Team Diamonds 2: Sneak peek as eight players are revealed

Madden 22 Ultimate Team is filled with different programs, but few are as important for Theme Team enthusiasts as Team Diamonds.

With a handful of reveals already dropping and more on the way, here's everything we know about Madden 22 Team Diamonds 2.

Madden 22 prepares for the arrival of Team Diamonds 2

For the second time this year, we're about to get Team Diamonds players in Madden 22 Ultimate Team.

The first group dropped several months ago, and unfortunately those solid 90 OVR options have gotten less and less valuable as more powerful cards have dropped in MUT 22.

However, there's good news for fans of every team as Madden 22 Team Diamonds 2 has now been confirmed.

The news broke on Good Morning Madden, and the Team Diamonds 2 announcement was accompanied by the reveal of 8 of the 32 new players that are on the way.

While they didn't confirm the arrival date or time of Team Diamonds 2, the majority of drops like this tend to arrive the day after they are revealed.

As such, we expect Team Diamonds 2 to hit Madden 22 Ultimate Team on Thursday, January 20, 2022.

The time the content will go live is much harder to predict, as they often aim for early day drops but sometimes those can be delayed several hours into the evening.

All Team Diamonds 2 Players Revealed (so far)

We don't quite have the full lineup yet, but we've already learned about several players coming in Team Diamonds 2.

In total there will be 32 new players, one for every NFL team, and at least one Team Diamonds Master that players will likely have to complete sets to obtain.

As always, the biggest benefit of Team Diamonds are their triple Team Chemistry boosts which will make your entire Theme Team stronger by being in your lineup.

Here are all of the Team Diamonds 2 players that have been revealed:

• Michael Strahan (LE) - 95 OVR - New York Giants
• Joe Montana (QB) - 95 OVR - San Francisco 49ers
• A.J. Hawk (MLB) - 95 OVR - Green Bay Packers
• Roddy White (WR) - 95 OVR - Atlanta Falcons
• Mario Williams (RE) - 95 OVR - Buffalo Bills
• Eric Weddle (FS) - 95 OVR - Los Angeles Chargers
• Terrell Suggs (ROLB) - 95 OVR - Baltimore Ravens
• Vince Young (QB) - 95 OVR - Tennessee Titans

That leaves 24 more Team Diamonds and one Team Diamonds Master on the docket, all of which are due to be revealed on the Madden Ultimate Team account on Twitter.

Those tweets should land around 7pm ET on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, possibly with 15 minute intervals between tweets and reveals.
