Madden 22 is gearing up to honor the league's standouts with Team of the Year, and this time the fans get to help decide who gets chosen.
With the countdown now underway, we've got details on exactly when voting will begin for Madden 22 TOTY and how long you'll have to cast your ballot.
When does Madden 22 TOTY voting start?
Madden 22 is bringing back the fan-favorite Team of the Year promo for Ultimate Team, but things are different this year.
In the past, EA simply took their own time reviewing the year and chose players to fill out their MUT TOTY.
That's all changing now as the Madden team has taken a cue from FIFA by announcing that Team of the Year will include a fan vote.
You'll only have a limited window to cast your vote, and it's almost time for that voting to begin on the Madden 22 TOTY.
Voting is set to start for Madden 22 Team of the Year on Friday, January 14, 2022 at approximately 7pm ET.
Team of the Year Voting Begins
While we had hoped some of the nominees might get revealed early, EA has instead chose to keep things under wraps until voting commences.
They did confirm on Twitter that voting will be for positions that fall under the categories of Offense, Defense, and Specialists.
They've used the following positions in TOTY before, and these could end up being the primary ones featured in Madden 22 Team of the Year:
- Left Tackle
- Left Guard
- Center
- Right Guard
- Right Tackle
- Quarterback
- Halfback
- Tight End
- Wide Receiver 1
- Wide Receiver 2
- Left Defensive End
- Defensive Tackle
- Right Defensive End
- Left Outside Linebacker
- Middle Linebacker
- Right Outside Linebacker
- Cornerback 1
- Cornerback 2
- Free Safety
- Strong Safety
- Kicker
- Punter
- Kick Returner
- Punt Returner
We know that the promo itself will start arriving in-game on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, and as a result the voting will only last a few short days.
When does Team of the Year voting end?
With the promo already scheduled to land in less than two weeks, EA will need some time after the voting concludes to get the content ready to launch.
If you wanna make sure your vote makes it into the virtual ballot box, you'll have to get things taken care of this weekend.

As confirmed on Good Morning Madden, the voting for Madden 22 TOTY is officially set to end on January 17, 2022 at exactly 11:59pm ET.
