Madden 22: When does Zero Chill end in Ultimate Team?

Madden 22 has been getting constant drops of new content in Ultimate Team over the holidays with Zero Chill, but all good things must come to an end.

We've got all the details you need on when Zero Chill is ending and what you need to make sure and do before the program closes out on Madden 22.

When does Zero Chill end in Madden 22 Ultimate Team?

Madden 22 Zero Chill has been going strong for several weeks now, but even this exciting program can't last forever.

The holiday season is starting to thaw, and that means Ultimate Team has to make way for new promos like Team of the Year as the Pro Bowl and Super Bowl start to approach.

ZERO CHILL: This is just a fraction of the content we've already seen

Players who have been working through the Zero Chill program don't have much time left, as Zero Chill ends on Wednesday, January 5, 2022.

That means there's just over one week left, and at the conclusion we'll see major parts of the program go away and the end of new content drops for it.

Ultimate Team won't miss a beat, but it'll be delivering something other than Zero Chill when this promo wraps up.

Which content leaves Ultimate Team when Zero Chill ends?

The number one that that'll happen at the conclusion of Zero Chill is that all of your Snowflakes will expire and no longer be usable currency.

In the past we've seen expired program currency get converted into some other kind of MUT currency, but there's been no official word on whether that will happen this year.

As a result, players should make sure to spend as much of their Snowflakes as possible before the program ends, as they may be completely useless or converted to a much weaker option after January 5, 2022.

Some aspects of the program should remain, most importantly Sets which allow you to submit players and earn some of the game's best long after the program has wrapped up.

OVERTIME: Sets don't seem to expire at all this year

Sets are still active for all of this year's major promos, including Most Feared and Harvest, but other parts of the program won't last as long.

EA hasn't clarified how long Challenges and Missions last, but as of now it appears they keep the current program and last program's Challenges and Missions active at any one time.

That means some of the Harvest Challenges and Missions remain active right now as Zero Chill continues, but other past ones like Most Feared have now gone away.

Players may get another shot at going through them and unlocking players after January 5 has arrived, but the safest thing would be to do as much grinding as possible before Zero Chill ends and likely takes much of the content with it.
