The level is about to rise in Ultimate Team thanks to Madden 23 Ring of Honor. The next MUT program will focus on five iconic players and bring 30 new cards to the game.
With TOTY behind us and Madden 24 looming on the horizon, MUT is starting to reach its end state. That means plenty of 99 OVR cards and elite players are on the way.
Madden 23 Ring of Honor
The newest program in Ultimate Team is all about legendary players. The programs focus on five incredible Hall of Fame players, that left their mark on the NFL.
The program was fully revealed on the latest Good Morning Madden stream. These cards will hit MUT on Thursday 23 March at around 10:30am ET/2:30pm GMT.
Upon entering MUT these cards will be some of the best to ever grace the game. Fans certainly want to get their hands on them as fast as possible.
Ring of Honor players
As you can see from the image above, Ring of Honor will highlight five players: Deion Sanders, Randy Moss, Barry Sanders, Lawrence Taylor, and Tony Gonzalez.
They are all arguably the best to ever play their positions and fan-favourites in the MUT community. These cards have some massive 99 stats, with all of them being 99 OVR cards.
Each of these icons is accompanied by five supporting cast players. They are former teammates of theirs or just current players from their previous teams. That makes for 30 total cards.
Not all will be as good as the five highlighted players, but we have a couple of 98 OVR cards in the supporting cast.
The shutdown cornerback's 99 OVR card is amazing. 99 speed, 99 man coverage, and 98 zone coverage make him a star.
Deion will also be a dangerous kick return man, and well worth acquiring as quickly as possible.

When it comes to sacking the quarterback there are none better than LT, and this Ring of Honor card shows it. He comes in with 99 power move, 99 block shed, and 98 acceleration to be a fierce pass rusher and run defender off the edge.

Tony G brings the heat in the middle of the field as a 99 OVR tight end. He's a brilliant control player with 99 jump, 99 catch in traffic and 96 speed.
He's also no slouch in supporting the run as he has 94 strength and 90 run block, he's a great all-round player.

As you can see these cards are going to be epic. They are all 99 OVRs and have some astonishing stats. The support cast are also very good, with most players there being in the 96-98 OVR range.
As always, you can earn all these 99 OVR cards through sets, but it's a long road. To get any of the 99 OVR Ring of Honor players you will need to exchange one of their 98 OVR supporting cast players (EG Will Shields to get Tony Gonzalez) and another 98 OVR Ring of Honor card to get the 99 OVR.
You will get Account Bound 98s back with your 99, so it's a pretty good deal. There are plenty of exchange sets for each of the other OVR levels, but you will need a LOT of cards if you want to exchange your way to all five 99s.
There will be a total of 20 challenges, that will let you get one of the five spectacular 99 OVR cards for free upon being completed.
You will also earn plenty of Field Pass XP for completing challenges in the Ring of Honor program, which will help you unlock more of the Season 4 rewards.
