TOTW INCOMING: The first drops should land tonight with the rest tomorrow

Following those, we're expecting the full MUT 22 TOTW 7 Reveal to take place on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at approximately 10:30am ET.

It usually takes some time for things to go live in-game and can be delayed some weeks, but expect TOTW 7 to land in Madden 22 Ultimate Team around 4pm ET / 3pm CT the same day.

Player of the Week 7 (POTW) - Ja'Marr Chase

After slowly making his rookie presence known, Ja'Marr Chase became completely unleashed this week with just 8 receptions totaling a massive 201 yards.

While he only pulled down one touchdown, his astonishing 25 yards per attempt were plenty to help the Bengals demolish the Ravens with a 41-17 victory.

Team of the Week LTD - Aaron Donald (2018)

While Aaron Donald isn't exactly a player in need of a new MUT 22 card that won't be getting more down the line, his performance in 2018 is undeniable.

HISTORICALLY GOOD: Donald is a beast today, but that's nothing new

With 8 solo tackles, 4 sacks, 6 tackles for loss, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery as the Rams trounced the 49ers back in Week 7 of 2018, Donald seems like an ideal choice here.

TOTW 7 Offensive and Defensive Heroes Predictions

Each week MUT 22 introduces a classic legendary player as a Team of the Week Hero based on a previous performance during Week 7.

With so much history to sift through these are very difficult to predict, but we've picked out a few strong candidates that could get chosen this week.

Offensive Hero - Marshall Faulk - 2002

If we travel back to 2002, Marshall Faulk was an absolute beast at running back for the St. Louis Rams, and he showed it in their Week 7 victory over the Seahawks.

THE LEGEND: Faulk was a monster back in his day

With 183 rushing yards, 52 receiving yards, 3 rushing touchdowns, and a receiving touchdown, Faulk scored 24 his team's points as the Rams took a 37-20 win.

Defensive Hero - DeAngelo Hall - 2010

One looking at standout Week 7 performances of the past, few defensive players have had a better game than DeAngelo Hall did back in 2010.

Hall had 4 interceptions, including one pick-six that went 92 yards, which helped Washington claw their way to a 17-14 victory over Chicago.

TOTW 7 - Other player Upgrades

Finally, we're down to the six core Team of the Week players, and MUT 22 TOTW 7 is sure to have a few big names this time.

Here are our top predictions for TOTW 7 on offense and defense.

Offense: D'Ernest Johnson, Kyle Pitts, Mike Evans

In what was likely the biggest game of his NFL career so far, D'Ernest Johnson tore it up with 146 rushing yards and a touchdown to help the Browns topple the Broncos.

BIG MIKE: We're never too far from a big week for Mike Evans

Mike Evans may have had a seemingly small (for him) 76 yards, but he pulled down 3 touchdowns on the day as the Buccaneers demolished the Bears with a 38-3 victory.

Lastly, Kyle Pitts decided to go off for National Tight Ends Day, and his 163-yard day played a huge role in Atlanta sneaking out with 30-28 victory over the Dolphins.

Defense: Rashaan Evans, Sam Hubbard, Azeez Ojulari

On the other side of the ball, Rashaan Evans had 3 solo tackles, an interception, and a fumble recovery as his Titans narrowly defeated the Bills.

Sam Hubbard made his mark with the Bengals by racking up 2.5 sacks, 5 combined tackles, and one pass defended as they took out the Ravens.

Finally, Azeez Ojulari had the best game of his rookie season with 2.5 sacks, 5 combined tackles, 3 tackles for loss, and 4 QB hits that helped the Giants hold Carolina to just 3 points this week.
