MUT 22 TOTW 6 Predictions: Player of the Week (POTW), Heroes, LTD

After another hot week of NFL action, it's almost time for MUT 22 TOTW 6 to arrive and give us more top-notch options in Madden 22 Ultimate Team.

With so many potential stars from this weekend's big games, our MUT 22 TOTW 6 predictions will take a look at which ones did enough to earn their next Madden 22 Ultimate Team card.

MUT 22: Team of the Week 6 Release Date

Madden 22 has been consistently delivering Ultimate Team updates via Good Morning Madden on Twitch once again this year, including Team of the Week.

We'll likely have the first few cards revealed on Twitter this evening around 6pm ET on Monday, October 18, 2021.

After that, the full MUT 22 TOTW 6 Reveal should take place on Good Morning Madden on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at approximately 10:30am ET.

It usually takes some time for things to go live in-game and can be delayed some weeks, but expect TOTW 6 to land in Madden 22 Ultimate Team around 4pm ET / 3pm CT the same day.

Player of the Week 6 (POTW) - Ceedee Lamb

While a lot of players had a good week, few did it as spectacularly as Ceedee Lamb as he helped the Dallas Cowboys steal a 35-29 victory over the New England Patriots.

Proving he's worthy of being the TOTW 6 Player of the Week, Lamb racked up 9 receptions on 11 targets for 149 receiving yards and two touchdowns, the second of which came in overtime and won them the game.

Team of the Week LTD - Kyler Murray (2019)

Kyler Murray has already been excelling in 2021, but if we travel back to 2019 we'll find an epic 340-yard passing performance with 3 touchdowns and an extra 32 rushing yards on top of all that to take Arizona to a 34-33 win over Atlanta.

While the LTD representing a current player's past performance can be difficult to predict, a combo of his current success and this great game from 2019 makes him a strong possibility in TOTW 6.

TOTW 6 Offensive and Defensive Heroes Predictions

Each week we get an Offensive and Defensive Hero in TOTW, and they're always a retired player based on a strong performance of the same week during their career.

As such, here are two solid possibilities we predict could be Heroes in MUT 22 TOTW 6.

Offensive Hero - LeSean McCoy - 2016

Having just retired on October 1, 2021, it's possible that the team at EA decided to hold off on a big LeSean McCoy card in MUT 22 knowing this performance was a few weeks away.

McCoy racked up 140 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns en route to the Bills delivering a 45-16 trouncing of San Francisco back in Week 6 of 2016, and he could be due for a TOTW Hero this week.

Defensive Hero - Cameron Wake - 2015

Picking out a past performance based Defensive Hero can be a bit more challenging, but Cameron Wake has a case when you look back at his Week 6 from 2015.

Looking for a crucial victory, the Dolphins were at home while taking on the Houston Texans, and Cameron Wake had two forced fumbles that helped keep the Dolphins ahead until they wrapped at 44-26 victory over Houston.

TOTW 6 - Other Player Upgrades

Finally, we have the core six players in Team of the Week, and MUT 22 TOTW 6 has a lot of candidates after this week's performances.

Here are our top predictions for TOTW 6 on offense and defense.

Offense: Jonathan Taylor, Donovan Peoples-Jones, Dalvin Cook

While it would be surprising to see them go with two running backs in the same TOTW grouping, it's definitely possible and two more than earned that.

With 145 yards and two touchdowns, Jonathan Taylor is almost guaranteed, and Dalvin Cook's 140 yards may have taken several more attempts and only netted 1 touchdown, but he's also still in the conversation.

Donovan Peoples-Jones is definitely due for a new card, and his 101-yard performances with 2 touchdowns on just 4 receptions and 5 targets should be more than enough to make it happen.

Defense: Maxx Crosby, Taylor Rapp, TJ Watt

While we're sticking with Ceedee Lamb, the biggest other Player of the Week contender is TJ Watt after his 2 sacks, 6 solo tackles, 3 passes defended, and forced fumble earned Pittsburgh the win over Seattle.

Taylor Rapp put together a heck of a week of his own with 5 combined tackles, but his 3 passes defended and 2 interceptions are what make him most likely to land on TOTW 6.

Finally we have Maxx Crosby, who had 6 combined tackles and 1 pass defended, but most importantly he had 5 QB hits and 3 sacks as he helped the Raiders take a win over Denver despite the chaos of Gruden's departure.
