What Time Does Destiny 2 Season 13 Start?

Following the early look at what's in store, Destiny 2 Season 13 is almost here.

Dubbed the Season of the Chosen, this season's storyline is all about Empress Caiatl and her arrival to fight against the Hive.

Destiny 2's newest season promises a new Social Space, the debut of Seasonal Challenges, two new Strike Teams, and a whole lot more.

Now, though, we're looking forward to the Destiny 2 Season 13 release date. When can you play it?

Start Time

Destiny 2 Season 13 will begin February 9th and run until May 11th, offering just-about three months of content.

However, there is currently no official information about when this update will drop. We can, though, look to previous updates for guidance.

The most-recent Destiny 2 update lasted for about two hours, starting at 16:00 GMT.

With any luck, Bungie will follow a similar format and the Season of the Chosen will be ready for 18:00 GMT.

There is also Destiny 2's daily reset to keep in mind. This occurs every day at 17:00 GMT, with the weekly reset at the same time every Tuesday.

If there isn't any downtime, it is safe to expect that the Season of the Chosen will go live after this reset at the very earliest.

Season of the Chosen

The Season of the Chosen is adding a huge amount of content to Bungie's shooter and promises to keep fans busy over the next couple of months.

There's going to be a new Social Space, two new Strikes, new Battlegrounds, and everything you'd expect in a Destiny 2 Battle Pass.

With the Pyramids and Xivu Arath destabilizing the system, Empress Caiatl, leader of the Cabal and daughter of Calus, seeks an alliance. But when she demands more than Zavala can offer, negotiations collapse, and Guardians must become the tip of the spear that strikes at her growing war council.
