Final Fantasy 7 Intergrade is almost here and it comes with plenty of new changes and small differences.
Placed just before Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 2, this is a must-play. Here's everything you need to know.

Announced mere months ago with a brand new trailer, Intergrade shows fans some long-awaited features.
The trailer starts with a small montage of great moments from the base game, with lovely upgraded visuals captured entirely on PS5.
It shows off those improved visuals with high-fidelity clips, only to be cut off by the VO of Yuffie. It goes over her character and shows a few classic characters at the same time.
Yuffie is inextricably linked to the main game in interesting ways, recontextualizing what we've already played. This shows what INTERmission offers, a companion piece to the original experience
The Difference Between Intergrade and INTERmission
Anyone who bought the base Final Fantasy 7 Remake game gets all the new features and upgrades to the game but they don't get the Yuffie DLC.
Anyone Anyone who got it with PS Plus only gets the PS4 version of the game, without the next-gen upgrades.
Yuffie's DLC only comes with the new edition of the game but those who bought the base game can buy the DLC for extra.
What Is INTERmission?
INTERmission places you in the eyes of Yuffie Kisaragi as she attempts to infiltrate Midgar on a secret mission. This mission is to steal a special Materia and Avalanche have decided to help you out.
This is where the connection is made to the base game. Avalanche tie the two stories together in ways that aren't worth spoiling.
Platforms
Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade will release exclusively to PlayStation 5. Unfortunately, INTERmission is designed exclusively for the console so bringing it back to PS4 is impossible as of right now.
It takes advantage of the hardware for better image quality and load times so they seem to be leaving the last generation behind.
Release Date
Luckily, alongside the announcement trailer was also a release date and we really don't have to wait very long. Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade is out June 10th, just days before E3.
