Silent Hill: The Short Message Gets Rated in Korea.

It's said that there are few things guaranteed in life but for anyone following the world of video game news, there will always be a new Silent Hill rumour for you to look at.

Ever since the cancellation of Hideo Kojima's take on the Silent Hill franchise after the massively popular P.T. fans of both the franchise and horror, in general, have been clamouring for the series to return with countless rumours, leaks and reports in the years since.

We got our strongest look at the new game(s) earlier in the year, with leaks and the subsequent removal of said leaks by Konami adding an air of legitimacy to them and now, we may have gotten confirmation on one of them.

This latest leak brings us to Korea, where a brand new game by the name of Silent Hill: The Short Message has been rated by The Game Rating and Administration Committee of Korea as reported by Gematsu.

This is, by far, the biggest piece of evidence we've had about a new Silent Hill game so far, with Korean game ratings having confirmed the upcoming release of titles in the past such as God of War Ragnarok and, more famously, announcing Mass Effect: Legendary Edition before it had ever been publicly revealed by EA.

Further bolstering this rating as true is the inclusion of UNIANA as its listed publisher, a group responsible for all Konami titles in Korea such as eFootball 2023 which also reportedly had its information added to the website.

It's currently unclear when Silent Hill: The Short Message will arrive but this rating seems to mean that a new entry to the beloved series is all but confirmed to be coming in the near future.
