Tiny Tina's Wonderlands Release time, date and preload time

Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is the long-awaited spin-off to Borderlands and it seems it's finally almost time to play it for ourselves. With a new location, magic and new ways to play, there's a lot to look forward to. If you have already purchased the game and you're looking to get everything ready for release, this is what you need to know.

Tiny Tina's Wonderlands Release Time and Date

Tiny Tina's Wonderlands finally launches this Friday, March 25th. It's a standalone spinoff to Borderlands, likely inspired by the huge success of Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep: A Wonderlands One-Shot Adventure. It's being built in the newer engine and has a few more unique mechanics. Whereas the original DLC felt very much built in the Borderlands 2 engine, this feels built from the ground up from the Borderlands 3 engine.

The release time of the game is intended to be as close to midnight as possible. Here are the times you can play it:

  • 9 pm PT, 24th
  • 12 am ET, 25th
  • 12 am GMT, 25th
  • 12 am CT, 25th
  • 12 JST, 25th

Tiny Tina's Wonderlands Preload Time

We don't have any official confirmation of a preload time just yet but it seems likely we will see one soon. Generally, games tend to offer a preload up to two days before the official launch. Unfortunately, the Epic Games Store has been infamously bad when it comes to offering preload in advance so there's a chance we may have to wait until just hours before release. Xbox and PlayStation tend to be a little better and likely already have parts of the game ready before a day one patch.

If anything changes and we receive an official confirmation, we will update you right here. Hopefully, we will see one soon.
