First and foremost, allow me to introduce the ranking format. We have divided our tier list into the following sections:

  • S+ Tier: The absolute best of the best. These champions are generally so good that they are called unfair or broken.
  • S Tier: Still top-tier, but not quite as dominant as S+. These champions are powerful and will generally be a good choice, but they may have some weaknesses that S+ heroes can exploit.
  • A Tier: Again, a good choice but not up to the standards of S and S+, but they may have some weaknesses or may not be as good in all situations.
  • B Tier: Provide viable and solid options that can be outclassed. Also, They may have specific counters or be less effective in all matchups. These Champion are easy to exploit hence they should only be picked when a specific need.

Now that you have a fair understanding of the format, you can take a look at the LoL Wild Rift Dragon Lane tier list for patch 5.0 below.

Moving forward, let's examine the top picks from each tier. However, it's important to clarify that the top selections from each tier are determined not only by their win rates but also by a combination of outcomes and opinions.

Best champion from each tier

Ezreal (S+)

Prestige Heavenscale Ezreal

One thing that makes Ezreal stand out is that he's not just a one-trick pony. He can be played in different ways depending on what your team needs. This makes him a flexible choice for many players.

With his long-range abilities and mobility from his Arcane Shift, Ezreal can safely farm in the laning phase while also poking down opponents from a distance. This minimises the risk of getting caught out by enemy engagements.

His ultimate ability, Trueshot Barrage, is really handy during combat. It can hit enemies from anywhere on the map, and help you secure some easy kills.

However, it's important to note that mastering Ezreal requires considerable skill. Utilizing his abilities effectively demands precision, particularly with Mystic Shot requiring accurate aim and Arcane Shift impeccable timing to maximize its utility.

With an incredible win rate of 50.5% and a 28% pick rate, Ezreal stands in a league of his own.

Tristana (S)

Spirit Blossom Tristana

Tristana's late game is arguably one of the best among ADCs. Her passive, Draw a Bead, permanently increases her attack range and attack speed with each passing level.

Also, one of Tristana's signature abilities Rocket Jump, allows her to leap to a target location and deal damage to nearby enemies upon landing. Not only does Rocket Jump provide Tristana with a means of escape it can also be used to reposition during fights giving her the added option of mobility.

Finally, the ultimate ability Buster Shot is a game-changer. With a mighty blast, Tristana knocks back her target and deals damage to them and nearby enemies. Furthermore, Buster Shot can be used defensively for herself or allies, or offensively to isolate and burst down priority targets.

Unlike Ezreal, mastering Tristana is a little bit easier as the controls are simple. So if you are new to LoL Wild Rift go ahead and pick Tristana.

Tristana has a win rate of 49.5%.

Jinx (A)

Jinx

Jinx is renowned for her chaotic and high-octane playstyle and this is why she is a favorite champion among aggressive players seeking explosive action on the Rift.

Starting with her passive, Get Excited, which grants her a burst of movement speed whenever she secures a kill, an assist, or destroys a structure. It's very useful to chase down escaping enemies or to reposition.

Her ultimate ability, Super Mega Death Rocket, is a lethal global skill shot which can reach the entire map. It's similar to Ezreal ultimate, as it allows her to secure kills from anywhere on the map. Flame Choppers and Zap are also invaluable abilities.

However, Jinx's hyper-aggressive playstyle comes with risks, as she lacks built-in defensive abilities and relies heavily on positioning to survive in fights. Experienced Jinx players must balance aggression with caution. This pretty much clears why we decided to place her in the second lowest tier.

With a win rate of 51.4%, she is ahead of her upper-tier characters.

Twitch (B)

Twitch

Twitch is an excellent choice for players who enjoy stealth and ambush tactics-based gameplay. Not par compared to A or above tier but this character is fun and thrilling to play.

He has poor base stats and a very short attack range, making him vulnerable to ganks and pokes in the early laning phase. Among all of this, it's his ultimate ability which makes him stand out from others, as activating it significantly enhances his damage output.

Twitch's playstyle often involves high-risk situations, especially when ambushing enemies or diving into teamfights. Most of the time you can be caught off guard and thus require a skilled hand to manage him.

This may surprise you, but Twitch's win rate is almost 52%. Yes, highest among all champions.
