Showdown
WHO DIS?: DD is set to see new game modes and content
Welcome to Showdown.
The fresh game mode within Diamond Dynasty offers a level playing field for gamers.
A 10-round draft will see you stock up on stars, with the rest of your roster then being generated around you.

Take on challenges and scenarios and win rewards with each success you have.
You also get a new choice of player to add to your squad with each win, but one lose will end your journey.
Legends

A new wave of greats are entering the game.
Baseball has a long history of legends, and MLB The Show 20 makes great use of these in Diamond Dynasty.
One of the pre-order bonuses was a Legend Diamond Choice Pack.

The likes of David Ortiz, Mariano Rivera, Greg Maddux, and Tom Glavine are included in that pack, with many more available throughout Diamond Dynasty.
Gameplay
A new PCI and the introduction of “perfect-perfect” swing timing & PCI position will create more rewards for hitters. With that, comes bigger problems if you can't time up right.
An extreme catch indicator will give players the chance to try a diving catch or play it safe. New first step animations will create a difference between elite outfielders and the sluggers that try to hide in the corners!
This will be key in Diamond Dynasty as players love to try and hide power bats around the field. Now it comes with a cost!
