Tatis Jr first to join MLB The Show's Diamond Club

MLB The Show 21 has finally begun to reveal this year's Diamond Club connected to Diamond Dynasty, and their first pick is no surprise.

Fernando Tatis Jr., who is also the Cover Athlete for MLB The Show 21, was chosen and presented with the brand new MLB The Show Diamond Club Award.

Fernando Tatis Jr. joins the Diamond Club

The reveal was made today through the Padres, and Cover Athlete Fernando Tatis Jr. has been chosen as the first member of the Diamond Club for MLB The Show 21.

The Diamond Club was first introduced with MLB The Show 20, and this elite grouping represents the top players available in Diamond Dynasty.

However, this year it also comes with a new Diamond Club Award which includes a one-of-a-kind Diamond Club Topps Card of the player receiving the award.

Manny Machado is next in MLB The Show 21

On top of the reveal that Fernando Tatis Jr. is the first of 40 players to join the Diamond Club in MLB The Show 21, they did drop news at the end of the video about who is joining him.

Manny Machado, another young star with the San Diego Padres, will be joining Tatis in the Diamond Club for MLB The Show 21.

Tatis will be the one to present the award to Manny Machado, so we may start seeing a string of presentations like this in the leadup to MLB The Show 21 being released on April 20, 2021.
