MLB The Show 21: Final Regular Season Roster Update Predictions

MLB The Show 21 has delivered consistent roster updates since the game launched back in April, but we're closing in on the final regular season ratings changes.

We've got all the details on what to expect in this next MLB The Show 21 roster update and predictions on which new Diamonds you could see.

MLB The Show 21 Roster Update: Final for the regular season

MLB The Show 21 started delivering biweekly roster updates with surgical precision upon launch and that was a streak they kept going for some time.

While things eventually did space out with an extra week or two between updates a few times, they stuck to delivering an MLB The Show 21 roster update multiple times throughout the season.

Now, we're finally about to arrive at the final regular season roster update with some of the last ratings changes that MLB The Show 21 will see.

As usual, the update is expected to go live at Noon PT, and this one is scheduled for Friday, October 1, 2021.

While it's not been announced, there could be a content stream revealing things that would go live at 11:30am PT if Sony San Diego decides to have one for this drop.

For clarity, these attribute adjustments are specific to Diamond Dynasty and will only alter Live Series cards.

New Diamonds Predictions

If you're looking to make some Stubs with this roster update, there's still time to invest in a few names in hope they see a jump to Diamond status.

We've picked out four players once again who seem most likely to go Diamond, but none of these is guaranteed.

Tyler O'Neill, Currently 84 OVR, St. Louis Cardinals

Tyler O'Neill was in our predictions for the last roster update, and he's only continued to dominate since then.

DIAMOND TIME: It should finally be Tyler's week

With 6 HRs and 18 RBIs in his last 15 games, it's hard to deny O'Neill his rightful place among the Diamonds in Diamond Dynasty.

Julio Urias, Currently 84 OVR, Los Angeles Dodgers

Before we jump back to the St. Louis Cardinals, Julio Urias has been quietly dominating with the Los Angeles Dodgers and his 2.04 ERA through the past 39+ innings pitched.

Despite often being overlooked when his team is also boasting Max Scherzer and Clayton Kershaw, Urias has been consistently strong as of late and deserves to make the leap to Diamond ahead of the postseason.

Paul Goldschmidt, Currently 83 OVR, St. Louis Cardinals

After a brief detour, we're back to Cardinals players who dominate the likely Diamonds this week, and Paul Goldschmidt has been on fire in his last 7 games.

AND ANOTHER ONE: There are plenty of Cardinals on fire right now

With 4 HRs and 8 RBIs through seven games, which also saw him with a .423 AVG, .516 OBP, and absurd .962 SLG, it's about to be Diamond time for Goldschmidt.

Harrison Bader, Currently 83 OVR, St. Louis Cardinals

Finally, we have yet another St. Louis Cardinal who may have a few less RBIs in recent weeks but his stats still make him a clear candidate to go Diamond.

Bader has a solid 3 HRs and 5 RBIs in his last 7 games, plus a .478 AVG, but he's got a crazy 1.000 SLG which puts him above even his HR-heavy teammates in that category.
