The 22-year-old hit 17 home runs in 2020 and is one of the most exciting players currently playing in Major League Baseball, something eluded to in the announcement trailer.

Crossplay

We thought that MLB The Show 21 would be the first game in the series to stray from being a Sony exclusive.

We know now this is the case, with official confirmation that the game will be released on Xbox One and Series X|S.

However, there is no further mention of Nintendo Switch despite rumours circulating way back in 2019.
