We've got details on all the top player ratings changes in the July 29 MLB The Show 22 roster update.

MLB The Show 22 Roster Update: Judge rising in major ratings overhaul

With the All-Star Break now in the rear-view mirror and the MLB continuing with the season, another big MLB The Show 22 roster update has arrived.

Dubbed "The Overhaul," this update uses advanced analytics from looking at the full season up to and including the All-Star Break in addition to recent performances.

This is one of the biggest we've seen with 370 player ratings on the move, and there were even deeper changes like pitch repertoire adjustments.

Josh Hader, who got even better in this update, also was given Outlier on his 2-Seam Fastball to make him an even more devastating threat.

Aaron Judge reclaims the top spot in Diamond Dynasty after being bumped down to 92 in a previous update, but it's a position he'll share with fellow 94 OVR player Shohei Ohtani.

Josh Hader, Kyle Tucker, Manny Machado, and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. were all among the top players to see a ratings boost.

We've also got two new Diamonds as Alejandro Kirk and Julio Rodriguez got improvements that put them in the coveted Diamond Club.

There weren't quite as many big names on the move in this update as there have been in others, but a bit further down there are tons of players rising.

A total of 11 different players jumped up to Gold in this update including Jose Trevino, Amed Rosario, Brandon Nimmo, D.J. LeMahieu, Isaac Paredes, Alek Thomas, Max Kepler, Michael Harris, Ryan Mountcastle, Trevor Story, and Gleyber Torres.

The biggest jump definitely goes to Harris, as he made a rare leap from Bronze all the way to Gold with a 7-point boost in this update.
