Sony San Diego continues to address any issues MLB The Show 22 has continued to have since launch with each game update.

MLB The Show 22 Update 1.08 has now arrived, and this update deployed on all platforms at 4am PT on June 9, 2022.

Game Update 8 is Version 1.08 on PS4 and Nintendo Switch, Version 1.008 on PS5, and Version 1.0.0.73 on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.

With no major content additions, the download size is reasonably small at just 1.32 GB on Xbox Series X|S and just 1.406 GB on PS4.

The frequency of each MLB The Show 22 update has kept a pretty solid pace since launch, as some glitches have proven more difficult to eradicate.

This Game Update comes just one week after MLB The Show 22 Update 1.07 was dropped with bug fixes and a few user interface adjustments for Supercharged Players and Conquest Featured Rewards.

While the vast majority of this update is bug fixes, they did drop in the Nike City Connect Los Angeles Angels uniform.

Most of the City Connect releases in-game have been tied to Diamond Dynasty programs in order to unlock them, but the Angels one appears to have just been added outright as it's already usable.

General Gameplay:

• Fixed an issue that would cause the “Can’t Pitch” icon to remain on the screen in certain situations.
• Pitcher stamina is no longer shared between Online Rated and Co-op games.

Diamond Dynasty:

• Fixed an issue that would cause MLB and MiLB uniforms from displaying incorrectly in the uniform selection screen.

Co-op:

• Fixed an issue that would prevent the correct weather from displaying in game.
• Fixed an issue that could cause a crash while loading into a Co-op game.

Miscellaneous:

• Introduction of the Nike City Connect Los Angeles Angels uniform.
• Updated uniform colors for the Colorado Rockies and the Los Angeles Angels.
• Reliever stats now show regular season stats during a reliever’s first appearance in postseason.
• Fixed an issue that could prevent users from unlocking “The Portal Is Open!” Trophy/Achievement if they previously created a DD team on another console.
• Various crash fixes.
• Various text adjustments.
• Various crowd audio adjustments.
