MLB The Show 23 has plenty of gameplay features players can edit to their liking. The hitting view and PCI are two of those, and they have a big impact on the player's gameplay.
The perfect hitting view and PCI can take your game to a new level, making it much easier to hit Home Runs.
So, without further ado, let's check out the best hitting view and PCI settings in MLB The Show 23.
Best Hitting View in MLB The Show 23
There are other batting options you can change that impact your batting experience, but none is more important than hitting view. Adjusting the hitting view can have a very positive impact on your batting experience.
The best hitting view will help you hit more balls and get a better perception of what balls are inside or outside of the strike zone. Be aware that, what is the best hitting view for some might now work as well for others. You should always strive to find what works out better for you.
However, trying out what works for most players can also help you discover what works for you.
There are many hitting views to choose from in MLB The Show 23, but we recommend Strike Zone 2. Strike Zone and Strike zone 3 are also pretty good, so make sure you also check them out.
Best PCI Settings in MLB The Show 23
There are many ways you can edit the PCI settings, and adjust them to your advantage in MLB The Show 23.
As mentioned previously, you should try and find out what's best for you.
We've found the most success with the PCI view seen below, and with the following settings.
- PCI Center: Circles
- PCI Inner: Wedge
- PCI Outer: None
- PCI Color: Orange
- PCI Transparency: 70%
- PCI Fadeout: None
By completely removing the PCI Outer, the clutter on your screen will be significantly reduced, making it easier for you to track the ball as it's coming in your direction.
The Wedge choice comes with the advantage of different sizes on each side with the larger half of the Wedge always on the outside of the zone.
Removing PCI Fadeout allows you a little extra time to track the ball and know where your PCI is placed through that process.
Practice makes perfect, so make sure to spend a good amount of time in Custom Practice training your batting.
