There are many game modes in MLB The Show 23, and the Road to the Show is among the most popular ones.

MLB The Show 23 brings a much improved Road to the Show. This will make it much easier for players to immerse themselves in the game.

Just like in previous years, players will be able to choose from a plethora of positions. When you start your career on Road to the Show, the first task you have is choosing your position.

Pitchers will have fewer opportunities to change positions. On the other hand, Two-Way Players and Position Players will have more opportunities to do so.

So, you should take this into consideration when choosing your starting position.

Unfortunately, you can't change positions on MLB The Show 23 whenever you want, as there is no option for you to do that.

To change position, you will need to wait until management approaches you to talk about how things are going.

In the conversion, you will have the opportunity to show your discontentment with the current situation. Then, you can say in what other position you would rather play.

How to stop being a 2-Way Player in RTTS

In today's day and age, everyone wants to be a 2-Way Player. There is a good reason for that since some of the best players in baseball history are both pitchers and hitters. Everyone wants to be the next Shohei Ohtani and lead his team to glory.

With 2-Way Players being such a hot commodity in baseball right now, it can be enticing to start your career in that position. After all, who wouldn't want to have the majority of the teams in the MLB interested in them?

Road To The Show Dynamic Challenges underwent some big chances

Despite that, being a 2-Way Player can become uninteresting after some time for a couple of fans.

Some might prefer to focus on pitching or batting only, so a position change can revitalize their Road to the Show save. To do that, you will once again have to wait for management to approach you.

Once they do, a conversation will begin, and in that conversation, you will have the chance to select a new position.

How to change field position and duties in RTTS

If you've decided that a change is necessary, be it to your position or duties, you can discuss that with your management, once they approach you.

When you talk with your manager about the possibility of changing up your balance of duties, he will ask you some questions.

The answers you give to these questions will allow you to choose your pitching duties or your field position duties.

When it comes to pitching, you have the option to request different scenarios. As for positions, you'll be able to tell your manager exactly where on the field you would like to perform.

You will have more than one chance to change your position, but once you progress further into your save, these opportunities will start to dwindle.
