MLB The Show 23 Early Access date REVEALED

The MLB The Show 23 Release Date has been officially announced, as have the four editions of the title that are coming, each with different bonuses.

That means we now know the exact date that Early Access for the game will start, so check out when that will be below.

MLB The Show 23 Release Date

While they've branched out on the consoles department over the last few years, Sony San Diego has stayed as consistent as ever when it comes to the launch of MLB The Show 23.

The annual title will have a worldwide release on Tuesday, 28 March, just two days before the Major League Baseball opening day on Thursday, 30 March.

Pre-Orders for all editions went live on Monday, 6 February, with Early Access granted by purchasing the Digital Deluxe Edition and The Captain Edition of the title.

Pre Order Early Access & Tech Test

There are a few ways to get in on the MLB The Show 23 action earlier than the worldwide release.

One of these is the four days of Early Access coming on Friday, 24 March for those who Pre-Order the Digital Deluxe Edition and The Captain Edition of the game.

We have also had the Tech Test rolled out, which we've seen employed by Sony San Diego the last few years to test out server load ahead of launch.

Users on PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch were able to download the Tech Test and try out multiple game modes between Wednesday, 15 February and Tuesday, 21 February.

The biggest advantage of the Tech Test is the opportunity to try out the new gameplay first-hand, while it also helps Sony San Diego fine-tune things.
