FanDuel & DraftKings NBA Daily Picks: Fantasy lineup & advice 2/12/18

PG-Rajon Rondo, New Orleans Pelicans @ Detroit Pistons

Rondo is back to being a fantasy freak of late. The veteran dropped a triple-double line of 25 points, ten rebounds, and 12 assists against the Nets, the fourth time in his last five outings where he’s reached 6x fantasy value or higher. It’ll be worth rolling the dice on Rondo one more time as he faces a Pistons team on the second night of a back-to-back.

Also consider: Jerian Grant, Chicago Bulls vs Orlando Magic

Grant has been rolling over his last couple of games. After dropping 14 points, eight rebounds, and 11 assists against the Timberwolves, he came right back on the second night of a back-to-back to deliver 11 points, six boards, and eight assists on the Wizards. You should fancy his chances of hitting the trifecta of strong fantasy outings as he faces another advantageous matchup against Orlando.

SG-Lou Williams/Austin Rivers, Los Angeles Clippers @ Brooklyn Nets

After a recent shooting slump, 'Lou Will' has rediscovered his stroke over his last couple of games. He’s averaging 24.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, 6.0 assists, and 4.0 3-pointers in his last two games, and he could’ve had even more fantasy points had it not been for his 11 combined turnovers in those contests. Nevertheless, Williams will get even more opportunities to rack up the points tonight as he faces the run-and-gun Nets, which should be the perfect opponent for his skill set.

As for Rivers, he's back from a lengthy layoff, and he's getting heavy minutes immediately at the point with the absence of Milos Teodosic. If Teodosic does miss out again, Rivers could benefit fantasy-wise, just by virtue of playing time and the terrific pace Brooklyn plays in.

SF-TJ Warren/Josh Jackson, Phoenix Suns @ Golden State Warriors

The Suns’ wing duo of Warren and Jackson just continue to take advantage of Booker’s absence. In their last game against the Nuggets, Warren dropped 31 points and five boards while Jackson had 20 points, seven boards, five assists, and four blocks in a terrific all-around fantasy performance. If the Suns can keep it competitive against the Warriors, these two will likely end up with more impressive numbers.

Also consider: Mario Hezonja, Orlando Magic @ Chicago Bulls

Hezonja is having one of the best stretches of what has been a mostly disappointing NBA career to date. The Croatian is averaging 15.3 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.4 steals, and 2.4 3-pointers over his last seven games, and has reached 5x fantasy value in seven of his last eight games. He should fancy his chances of keeping that hot streak up against the lowly Bulls.

PF-Tobias Harris, Los Angeles Clippers @ Brooklyn Nets

Harris has settled into life in LA quite well. The versatile forward is putting up 18.0 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 1.8 steals in his first four games with the Clippers. Harris’ upside will be that little bit higher tonight when he goes up against Brooklyn. He’s lit it up to the tune of 21.0 points on 56 percent shooting, with 5.5 rebounds, and 3.0 assists in two meetings with the Nets during his time in Detroit.

Also consider: Dragan Bender, Phoenix Suns @ Golden State Warriors

Bender has been a huge bright spot for the Suns to start February. The young Bosnian is averaging 15.4 points and 6.6 rebounds while shooting a blistering 54 percent from the floor and 52 percent from beyond the arc. He’s coming off easily his best-ever fantasy performance as a pro as he dropped 23 points, eight boards, four assists, two blocks, and a steal against the Denver Nuggets. The Warriors have been burned by a few power forwards of late, which should make Bender worth another gamble.

C-DeAndre Jordan, Los Angeles Clippers @ Brooklyn Nets

Andre Drummond, Anthony Davis, and Joel Embiid could all be well worth their lofty price tags as they have advantageous matchups tonight, but if you’re looking for a slightly cheaper option who can provide similar value, Jordan remains fairly reasonably priced. The Clippers big man recently dominated the Sixers to the tune of ten points and 21 boards last time out. He will have an even better chance of putting up those types of numbers as he takes on the Nets, who are easily the worst in terms of containing opposing centers.

Also consider: Enes Kanter, New York Knicks @ Philadelphia 76ers

It’ll be the second night of a back-to-back for Kanter, but he remains capable of far exceeding his modest price tag in fantasy given the Knicks’ sheer lack of options. The New York big man had 17 points and 11 boards in last night’s loss to the Pacers, and will have an even more advantageous matchup against the Sixers lined up tonight. The first time he faced Philly this season, Kanter burned them for 31 points and 22 rebounds.
