NBA 2K19: Los Angeles Clippers Player Ratings and Roster

share to other networks share to twitter share to facebook

The Los Angeles Clippers did not have the strongest of endings to their 2018 year. Barely finishing above their sister LA team with a standing of 42-40, they ranked 10th of 15 in the western conference. This year, they hope to be able to push their way into the upper bracket, and prove that they have worth to spare.

Starting Lineup

Patrick Beverley, PG (OVR 78)

Age: 29

Height: 6’1”

Trait: Lockdown Defender

Best Attributes: Lateral Quickness, Vertical, Steals

Playing his second season with the LA Clippers, Patrick Beverley had a better year of play than his previous years. Averaging around 12.2 points per game, along with 4.1 average rebounds too. The only drawback is he only played a few games with them, so he is hoping to show a bit more of his prowess come the 2019 season.

Avery Bradley, SG (OVR 77)

Age: 27

Height: 6’2”

Traits: Lockdown Defender

Best Attributes: Lateral Quickness, Speed, Ball Handling

Formerly more well known as a Boston Celtic, Bradley has struggling since being traded. After he had been transferred, he did not see much gameplay, as he was bouncing around teams, finally landing with the LA Clippers. Although he has swapped around teams, his 2017-2018 season actually had decent point coverage, with him breaking the double digits in terms of average points, as well as a decent .412 FG%. He may not have much in terms of team play, as he has a fairly low 2.1 assists averaged, but he hopes to be a bit more proactive and show his worth this year.

Danilo Gallinari, SF (OVR 77)

Age: 29

Height: 6’10”

Traits: Sharpshooter

Best Attributes: Stamina, Mid-Range, Ball Handling

Although he suffered an ACL injury in the 2013-2014 season, he came back in decent fashion. During his first year with the LA Clippers, however, he seems a bit off kilter, only banking 15.3 average points, 3 less than the previous year. He does have 4.8 total rebounds, although a measly 2.0 assists averaged may make him a bit problematic. An average player for an average team, not much is expected of his potential.

Tobias Harris, PF (OVR 82)

Age: 26

Height: 6’9”

Traits: Inside-Outside Threat

Best Attributes: Stamina, layups, Vertical

Playing in the power forward position, Tobias Harris is looking to be a strong carry for the team. Although rated highly overall, this will be his first full year with the Clippers, having been bounced around from Detroit. He averaged an impressive 19.3 points last season, and had 6.0 rebounds, as well as 3.1 assists, making him a feared opponent.

Marcin Gortat, C (OVR 77)

Age: 34

Height: 6’11”

Traits: Tenacious Rebounder

Best Attributes: Strength, Stamina, Rebounding

Well into his competitive years, this will be Gortat’s 12th year as a professional player, but his first with the LA Clippers. More defensive than other Centers, he only averaged 8.4 points last season, but put up an impressive 7.6 average rebounds, with 5.4 of those on defense. Not the star, many hope he will be able to just do his job as a team player.
