NBA 2K20: Tallest players in the game


NBA 2K20 is finally here and it is full of new features and remarkable visuals.

The long-awaited basketball game that takes over the sports gaming world has officially launched and fans all across the world are already diving into 2K Games newest and greatest hit.  

Modern day basketball has a heavy emphasis on three-point shooting. The Golden State Warriors changed the way the game is played nowadays but it is still basketball and there is one factor that can change the way a game is decided.

Throughout the course of NBA history we have seen some staggering players use their size to devastating effect, from the cultural sensation Yao Ming to the newest player entering the NBA who we will talk about more later.

These players are freaks of nature and it seems impossible to defend against them at certain times, it can be very easy to score an easy two points with them during 2K. So, who are the tallest players in NBA 2K20? Here are the top five!

Tacko Fall, Boston Celtics 

*Tacko was signed to the Celtics roster after Summer League and is expected to play opening day. However, 2K has not put Tacko into the game yet but we will update this page when they do so!

Position: C

Age: 23

Height: 7'7"

The recently graduated UCF center showcased his talents during last years March Madness match up against Zion Williamson's Duke Blue Devils. Tacko is listed at a staggering 7'7" which is by far the tallest player in the modern NBA.

Although Tacko went undrafted during the 2019 NBA draft he was eventually signed to the Boston Celtics after his play during Summer League which turned some heads. He will no doubt be an easy two points during 2K20 and even during the regular season.

Boban Marjanović, Dallas Mavericks - 75 OVR

Position: C

Age: 31

Height: 7'3" 

The newly signed Dallas Mavericks center had a very productive season this year past alongside the Los Angeles Clippers and the Philadelphia 76ers. Boban also was cast in the newly released film John Wick 3, where the 7'3" NBA player had a brief cameo during a fighting scene. 

Boban was the tallest player active player in the NBA for a few seasons until this years draft, he is in line to have another productive year but this time he will be teamed up with a hungry Dallas Mavericks lineup eager to win.

Kristaps Porziņģis, Dallas Mavericks - 87 OVR

Position: PF/C

Age: 24

Height: 7'3"

The former New York Knicks who had a falling out with the team during the trade deadline last year now resides also on the Mavericks with Boban. Dubbed "The Unicorn" has risen to become one of the NBA's best PF since his surprising draft which saw the Knicks take him fourth.

Coming off the back end of a torn ACL, Kristaps is looking to have a rebound season and there is no doubt he will indeed have one. Keep an eye out for this dynamic duo who will for sure tower above there opposition this upcoming season.

Bol Bol, Denver Nuggets - 73 OVR

Age: 19 

Height: 7'2"

Going into the 2018-2019 college basketball season, Oregon star Bol Bol was touted as a potential top ten pick going into this year's draft. However, he suffered a foot injury early on in the season which kept him sidelined for the rest of the college season and many NBA teams were skeptical of him going into the draft.

This caused Bol Bol to drop all the way into the second round all while trending worldwide, eventually picked by the Denver Nuggets the son of former tallest player in the NBA Manute Bol is eyeing for minutes this upcoming season. Keep an eye out for Bol Bol heading into the upcoming NBA season as he has a lot to prove and will for sure shake some heads.

DeAndre Ayton, Phoenix Suns - 82 OVR

Age: 21

Height: 7'1"

The Rookie of the Year runner up was a sensation last year for the abysmal Phoenix Suns, posting a double-double throughout the whole year he did not receive as much attention as warranted, however.

Ayton is listed at 7 foot 1 and can dominate any position in today's NBA, we have seen him be very versatile throughout the year especially on the offensive end. The Suns have not been a playoff contender for years not, but with a young core with Ayton at the heart of it could this FINALLY be the year they make the playoffs?

Marc Gasol, Toronto Raptors - 82 OVR

Age: 34 

Height: 7'1"

The reigning NBA Champion will be dawning the red and black once again for the Toronto Raptors. The NBA veteran center was a key component in the Raptors historic run to the title last year and will look to one-up his brother Pau as he looks for his second ring this season. 

Rudy Gobert, Utah Jazz - 88 OVR

Age: 27

Height: 7'1"

The two-time Defensive Player of The Year winner is once again one of the focal points for the Utah Jazz this upcoming season. With one of the longest wingspans in the NBA, Gobert has always been touted as one of the best rim defenders in the league and will look to improve upon this.
