Best Cards in the NBA 2K22 Dunktober set
The Dunktober set contains a total of 14 players, but six of them stand out due to their Pink Diamond and Diamond designation. The Pink Diamonds is a 95 OVR the highest in the entire game!
Purchasing these packs could net you the best players in all of NBA 2K22, especially if you're able to pull just a few Pink Diamonds.
Let's take a look at the Pink Diamonds first and how they can fit on your NBA 2K22 MyTEAM.
Oscar Robertson - PG/SG - Pink Diamond 95 OVR
The Big O, Oscar Robertson is the reward for collecting all of the top Dunktober set cards. The payoff for completing the collection is huge because of what Oscar Robertson can bring to your MyTEAM.
He's got incredible 3PT Shooting which is definitely needed in NBA 2K22. Based off last year's Pink Diamond, he'll likely have a 98 Driving Layup, which means he score on the inside and outside.
He hasn't hit the Auctions yet, but based off some of the Signature Series cards, you can expect Oscar Robertson to be well over 400K MT!
Vince Carter - SF/SG - Pink Diamond 95 OVR
Vinsanity, one of the most prolific dunkers in NBA history has made his way into the Dunktober set as a Pink Diamond. If you're a team that mostly focuses on driving to the lane, the 95 Vince Carter will be a great addition to your MyTEAM.
As you can see Vince Carter's scoring is magnificent. He's got an A+ on the inside and can even shoot from beyond the arc. This card has already been sold for upwards of 370K MT!
Kareem Abdul-Jabbar - C - Pink Diamond 95 OVR
Kareem Abdul-Jabbar rounds out the last of the Pink Diamonds (for now) and he's easily the best big man the game has to offer if you aren't playing small ball that is.
As you can see above, he's great on the inside but sacrifices a lot on the outside. We compared him with the Amethyst 90 OVR Dan Issel and Issel is a much better option at Center when looking at mid-range scoring and perimeter defense.
Abdul-Jabbar's auction value ranges from a whopping 250K MT to 330K MT.
All other Dunktober Cards
The Pink Diamonds are in a league of their own, but the entire Dunktober set is full of incredible cards. Rounding out the best available is the Diamond 94 OVR Nikola Jokic, Diamond 93 OVR Kobe Bryant, and Diamond 92 OVR Dirk Nowitski. Much more value here than the Primetime Packs.
