NBA 2K22 Update brings new Face Scans, Likeness updates for LeBron, Steph Curry, and more


Another NBA 2K22 update means that player likenesses, visual changes, and even brand new Face Scans are on the agenda for many different players.

With huge names like LeBron James and Steph Curry among those seeing some updates, we've got all the details on everyone getting a likeness change or new Face Scan in NBA 2K22 with this update.

The latest NBA 2K22 Update has arrived, and Version 1.05 and 1.09 are bringing a flurry of new Face Scans and visual likeness adjustments.

Unfortunately there is a slight lack of clarity, as multiple players are listed in the official Patch Notes for this NBA 2K22 Update as receiving "new scans and/or had general likeness updates" in the Current Gen section but those with new scans are noted in the New Gen (Next Gen) section.

As a result, we're going to have to outline each of those separately here as 2K is unlikely to add any more details on which new scans were done on Current Gen.

First, let's look at what changes were made in NBA 2K22 on Next Gen. All of the following players got some changes this time, and anyone with "(new scan)" by there name has a confirmed new face scan in NBA 2K22.

While there weren't quite as many big names getting much love on the Next Gen version of NBA 2K22, players who aren't on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S could see a lot more changes.
